I have a co-worker who bought into it and used it for about a week. Decided he likes food. What a concept! There's a case of it sitting in the cupboard. Might be good for taking on an extended backpacking trip in case the real food runs out. I tried it btw. Only a zombie apocalypse could make me drink that for every meal.

There really is no valid reason to eat first thing in the morning if you're not hungry. I love breakfast foods but no way am I eating/hungry for at least 2-3 hours after waking. Eat when you're hungry, no need to force feed.

This is my umpteenth time doing this but the FIRST time I am doing it without cutting out favorite foods or heavily restricting calories. Did my first step class in over 15 years. Reminded me of how uncoordinated I am LOL and I couldn't do all the moves, BUT I kept moving and I'll go to class again next week. OH also dropped a pant sized and gave my bigfer ones to goodwill.

Less goes in, less comes out. Agree with making sure there is enough fibre and water to keep things moving. Oh yes and coffee!

Have a 3 hour flight in June and I'd like to be comfortable in my seat without having to scrunch myself up OR wear a seatbelt extender <shudder>

I have tried a few brands and I can't stand the ones that have the gross floaty bits in it. Very cold over crushed ice with a shot of lime juice, (Yes, you put the lime in the coconut ;) ) is a great thirst quencher. Other than that I only buy coconut water to make coconut rice.

Stupid link! The video popped up on my facebook with link attached. Basically dehydrate the pit and the shell pops off, then chop/crush the seed and add to smoothies etc.

I eat breakfast but its at break time (10ish). I'm rarely hungry before then and I'm usually up around 6.

I find baked stuff freezes very well. If you want it to keep for longer than a couple of weeks, you could get yourself a vacuum wrapper machine. I checked the database and the highest protein entry I found for all bran was 14 grams. Either you picked the wrong entry, entered the wrong grams or your daily protein goal is wayyy to low.

I also eat the blue menu granola but not on its own with milk. It just doesn't keep me full for very long. What I do is add 10-15 grams (weighed on a scale) to my breakfast of pc greek yogurt and fruit to give my brekky some crunch. That combination keep me going for a few hours.

Anyone ever heard of or tried Skyr (skeer) Icelandic style yogurt? I see that superstore in Canada is selling it now. Packs a whopping 21gr of protein per serving and 0%fat. I'm a big fan of greek yogurt and this one is supposed to be less sour.

I divide the calories shown in half. works out to about 8 cal per minute.

I do. My bowl of salad is 100 calories before the dressing etc. Doesn't seem like much, but it would add up. 100 calories over maintenance every day could amount to a 1lb gain every 5 weeks.

I recently found dark chocolate flavoured chai tea. A cup in the evening with a couple cookies has been my go to treat for last few days.

If your "Clean meals" are lower calories than McDonalds then Yes they will absolutely make a difference. Gotta admit though that every once in a while I do want/have a Big Mac!
