Definitely should go see a physical therapist that specializes in pelvic floor and postpardium care... avoid crunches or sit up motion as that makes it worse. Look up supine and quadruped trans abdominis activation exercises

6 lbs could easily be water weight and bloating. Just remember your goal and you can achieve it! Best of luck!

Mom of 2... (10,6) starting over. Have at least 40lbs lose. Did it once, I know I can do it again as long as I stay in the right mind set... my biggest fear is the transition and maintenance once I reach my goal Current weight 183 Goal weight 150 5’5’’ tall 33 years old

Hello, I am starting over again as well. It is a little devastating. I am at my highest weight ever, even after 2 pregnancies.

Understand your reluctance, especially in today’s society we’re most want instant results... but a physiotherapist may still be beneficial. With most healing regarding low back/hip... usually sysmptoms do get worse before they get better. You need to determine what is the cause of the overactivity otherwise it will be an…

I wish you luck! I recommend more strength training than cardio but a good variety will be beneficial... do more than just the program workout in they days you go. It’s only 6 weeks!

I just completed the 6-week BOdy fat challenge... I lose 6.2% BF and 16lbs in 6 weeks but I started at 36% BF and pretty much starved myself the last week of the challenge to make sure I got my money back... At your weight and BF%... DONT DO IT

This... I have realized this is me... but my husband is the exception. I find I have more self control around him... so that is when I allow myself those extra foods that I normally can’t eat in moderation. I have slipped while he has been gone this time but I am trying to get back on track.

So I know there is a small chance that an IUD can damage one's cervix which is what happened to one of my friends I was not leading toward that route. It scaries me and the "whiskers" deter me even more. I think I am leaning more towards a low dose pill.

I too was diagnosised with severe OA at a young age. Now at 32, probably in the best shape of my life.... still working on it but doing much better than when I was first diagnosised. Mine was due to previous knee injuries but honestly I found the more active I am the better my knees feel. I would just start out slowly and…

Thank you. I was looking into the low dose BC.

I’m thinking either the pill or implant. However, with all the different pills I am trying to figure out the best for me. I have had some friends that had the implant but the increased risk of acne with it concerns me. My husband says he is good with not having anymore kids... I am on the fence... I am open to another…

Do you have the name of your BC?

I started the trial. Probably will keep it for now but need to find a program that I like. I was hoping to find something like FitBody Bootcamp but it’s just not the same... but it’s nice to be able to pull up any video and get a workout in... especially since I do not have a gym membership at the moment.
-
Thank you I didn't think about egg salad

Usually once you get to the gym and start moving you will feel better! But if not I recommend a good preworkout... my husband swears by his... but also I would try to do 5*5 (pretty heavy weight) full body... squats, deadlift, overhead press, and then max 2-3 max rep pull-up& pushups. That way you will still give a good…

I was able to fit in my military uniform from 10 years ago!

I just think it’s bull for a dr to just say you can’t do anything. I have seen people way worst than me do so much more. The Dr may not be wrong but I am also the type of person who tells me I can’t do something... well I have to prove them wrong that I can... But I also feel that no matter the situation... you shouldn’t…

It varies on different days... like today it was a cramp in my diaphragm... which is probably from jogging my fastest mile... Other days it’s my knees... which I still push to at least jog a mile and then walk the rest of the way But on most days the image pretty sums up how I feel...

So I hired a personal trainer for the first time this year. The key is a good trainer that listens to you. I always thought since my background is physical therapy I should know what I need to do to get in shape but my trainer helped me realize that sometimes I just need the added accountability! Which.. PAYING.. for…

Crutches is a lot of work on your upper body... yeah it sucks that you can’t do much for lower body until cleared but you can stay fit and healthy! Just focus on what you can do vs can’t!

The new ratio I did is much better texture for me and flavor with little less chia and more blueberries
-
If you are able to see the recipe I posted ... it’s like overnight oats... you soak them in a liquid... which for mine I did 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2Tbsp maple syrup, tsp cinnamon with about 2/3 cup of blueberries... I put it all in the blender..minus chia seeds... once liquified I added chia seeds...…
-
I found it pretty filling given that I eat about every 2-3 hours but I am adding less chia seeds and more blueberries to my next serving.
-
So update... the recipe in my opinion could use a little less chia seeds and little more blue berries... but it feels really filling... just not sure how long it will last... hopefully a few hours as I am eating every 2-3 hours

I like crockpot Chicken... cook a large batch and then I make chicken salad, chicken fajitas, buffalo chicken wraps, chicken, salsa, guacamole wraps, chicken stir fry....just change the seasoning for a different meal... I cook about 5 breast and it lasts a good week... with minimal cooking!
