Thanks everyone. There's definitely still work for me on the identifying hunger vs blood sugar crashes. I don't even know where to start on that one! I travel a lot so often eat at odd times e.g. have breakfast and lunch within 2 hours of one another then not eat dinner for another 10 etc. I did try IF previously when my…

Thanks everyone! The thirst thing is always the first one I jump to. I've drank 5 litres of water today ... I've managed to hold out so I'm going to have an early dinner and see how I feel tomorrow. I'm not sure if it's psychological because I know I haven't lost anything yet. Thanks for all your suggestions - keep them…

I REALLY struggle around TOM with food/activity decisions. For the last 6 months or so I've been reducing my deficit from TDEE - 20% to TDEE - 10% for the week - it seems to really help! Gives me a little extra room for a treat or bigger servings. I also wind my exercise down a little bit. I know it's supposed to help to…

Wow, it seems that weight loss has been having a big effect on many people's bust. Not mine - or not enough on the cups really! SW - 200lbs - 36E CW - 165lbs - 32FF 5'10

Hi there Corliss, I'm Nikki. I'm not quite as tall as you (5'10) but I totally get the issues with clothes etc. My friends all seem to be shorter than me too which can make you feel a bit awkward. The best thing to do I've found is to embrace it! Good luck with your weight loss - slow and steady is key. MFP has really…

I know it's completely useless and a waste of energy but I get really annoyed by the effect it has on the whole tracking thing. (Although, this may be because I like order a tad too much!) I have to increase my calories to TDEE - 10% for the week before my TOM (usually on TDEE - 20%) and so don't weigh myself that week.…

I really get this! I'm 5'10 and get really annoyed/feel awkward when my (much shorter) friends talk about how horrible it is to be over x lbs when I was WAY over that. It was almost like they didn't realise how much I actually weighed - but why would they? I think we all get a bit too hung on numbers sometimes - same with…

You look great - congrats! Can I ask what if any exercise you fitted in?

Great achievement! Keep it up :)

Well done!

Being able to keep coming back is key. Congrats!

Thanks all! Onwards and upwards :)

My current goal was created by Scooby too. Hmm .... may try and have a little bit of a look - thanks :)

Hi Terbusha - Yes, I think it's going to be a bit of trial and error by the looks of it! Really don't like messing with something that works which is why I'm a bit nervous but guess I'll have to bite the bullet :) Thanks for your message also Hi Rabbitjb - I can't speak for anyone else but I did calculate on MFP for a good…

All looking amazing! I'm 5'10 and started at 200lbs in August. Currently down to 172lbs and feeling so much better about myself. Got another 25lbs give or take to go but feeling positive! :)

I think for me, like other people have said, its the dropping out of fun, social events because of how embarrassed I am of my size. Plus, there's normally always someone with a camera!

Hi I'm Nikki. Current 3rd year student too - I'm 22. Looking to lose 38lbs before my graduation in August. I'm down 22 so far so hoping the next 38 will be the product of habit :)

Look great. Well done :)

Yeah, I have a B belly but I didn't when I was slim so am hoping once I lose the weight, I'll also lose the B shape but who knows! Fingers crossed!

It is a nice problem to have though I suppose! And I'm sure eventually our brains will catch up with our bodies - or at least I hope so!

Haha. Sometimes buying smaller clothes can be a motivational tool I suppose!

Well, it sounds like most people do it over a weekly basis but I see no problem doing it longer. I also understand people that just say, 'If you go over, you should acknowledge it and move on' because it can turn into a cycle I imagine! Like I said previously, if you can do the maths, and are fine with the scales then I…

Yeah I agree with everyone. I like to think of my calories almost as money to spend and I do tend to look at it on a weekly basis using a spreadsheet like someone mentioned. I think it works around when/if you weigh or measure. I weigh once a week so keeping any 'banked' calories for longer than that would totally screw…

Any time Eldamiano

Thanks everyone! Guess it's just a bit of trial and error from this point. I appreciate the help :) Eldamiano: The qu itself was quite quick but I wanted to give enough info for any potential helpers to actually be in a position to advise me.

Wow, dedication has really paid off for you! Congrats

I think it's really important how many people are putting their loss down to a change of thinking about themselves as well as the exercise and logging. Really interesting ...
