    Hi there! :flowerforyou:

I guess it’s time that I made a thread for myself, hehe. It’s almost a year into my weight loss journey and it’s been an amazing trip so far! I’m very excited to keep at it, and keep lifting. Man, I’ve fallen in love with lifting even though I’m so new to it (just finished NROLFW Stage 1).

I started with lots of cardio and that lost a whole lot of weight, but that just made me a smaller version of my bigger self. Ultimately, I was still soft and squishy. After finishing Stage 1 of the New Rules of Lifting for Women, I felt a little bit less squishy and a lot stronger!

Before I show you my progress in pictures, I have to apologize for the crazy amounts of underwear pictures you’ll have to see. Just scroll down really fast if you want to – haha!

    Walk with me:

That’s about it. I started NROLFW in late April and I finished Stage 1 about a week ago. :) I’m just gonna keep going and maybe post more pictures as I progress into lifting heavier stuff. It’s all about commitment! We can do this! xx

What cardio do u do at the gym and for how long?

You look adorable! Thanks for sharing as you have similar stats ( except age) and you are at my goal! Thanks for pointing to this book reference; I'll definitely be checking it out.

Wow, didn't notice that this thread got resurrected until I received a sudden influx of friend invites. Thanks everyone! A lot's happened since then (mostly me being finally comfortable in a bikini):

I'm still working towards getting my body fat percentage down through diet and lifting. I'll get there someday!
Total weight loss is now about 47 lbs. Fat loss I'm not too sure since I don't have my percentage from when I started.

All I can say is, keep your eyes fixed on the prize with laser focus! It's okay to falter sometimes and eat 10 slices of pizza in 1 go, but don't beat yourself up over it. Get up and go hard again the next day.
