Thumbs up for the Happy Meal!

How many calories does MFP tell you to eat at your selected rate of loss?
-
Am I the only on who'd like to get rid of these things? I think I'd look ridiculous at my goal weight with Ds...
-
I just literally spit out my water. Ah.ma.zing.

I've had family members do Seattle Sutton and they liked it and saw good results. Buuuuut it didn't really teach the long term skill of planning and preparing food for maintainence.
-
But did the decomposition-creating bacteria lose any weight??
-
YES. I also can't eat homemade food unless I've seen someone's kitchen. It perhaps makes me a little too rigid, but I want to know if you're the type of person who has five years worth of grease/spills on your counters.

IDK, I think if you're trying to be as accurate/knowledgeable as possible, then OP's question and attempt to quantify their activity is to be applauded.

I have rewards for every ten pounds lost, as well as big milestones - getting to a new BMI level, etc. Mostly just stuff that I really want but never buy myself - facials, expensive-ish shoes, etc. The big goal reward is a trip to California to bask my smaller self in some sun. :)

Have you moved before, brah? That shet's sweaty, hard work., esp. w/stairs. Heart rate through the roof.

This.

You can add new fat cells.

The short answer is: that morning I tried on all my jeans and found them all too tight to be presentable. And then I stood there in a pile of denim, tears streaming down my face, and revolved to never feel that way again.

I usually get a vodka soda with lime... but it's pretty tasteless, IMHO. #doesthejob

Have you thought about wearing a heart rate monitor (HRM)?
-
I'm sure you mean well, but science would say otherwise.
-
The likely suspect!

Personal trainers are rarely nutritionists. :)

My vote is for a Polar or Garmin brand product. Two thumbs up for both. Personally wear a Polar A300.

This. If you work a desk job, I'd start w/sedentary and adjust if you need to.

During the course of the past 10 years or so? Constantly. I lost 85 pounds, then gained them all back and some of their fatbish friends. A couple of years ago, I lost more than 50, gained back about 30, and here I am today. While I'm not proud of this, I know it's been a learning journey for me. I'm sure I'll make many…

Congrats on passing your test - but even though you have your license, can you not still walk to work? :)
-
Keep trying to slowly work them in. Five years ago, I would have been grossed out at the sight of a cooked tomato. Now I can eat small pieces. I can even eat spinach in some forms, haha!
-
Fellow veggie-hater here. I too can tell if a piece of lettuce has ever shared molecules with my food. I've recently tried salted edamame - so far it doesn't set off my alarm bells. Also, do you like tomato sauce? If so, you could try sneaking more cooked tomatoes in your food. It's a struggle. But also true is what…
-
If you do that, you're gonna have a bad time, mkay?
-
New scale, at least a new battery.
-
I previously suffered from this - feel free to friend/message me!

I think a person's motivation is bad if it leads you to do dangerous things - "i.e. I hate my body so I'm going to only eat 600 calories today," etc. Everyone's reasons are their own - the important thing is to get to your goal in a healthy way.
