Since cutting calories, I've developed a strong like for various flavors of unsweetened tea, so I say try different flavored teas. You really can't go wrong. You can make the tea as strong or as weak as you like. So yeah, try tea.

Walked 5 miles on the treadmill at 3 mph, 5% and 10% incline.
-
I walked 7.25 miles ranging from 2.0 mph to 3.5 mph, 5% to 15% incline. I will probably walk another 3 miles tonight.
-
The only way to have optimum results when it comes to walking alone is to pump the incline [10% incline for example] up. I attribute all my weight loss success to inclined walking and counting calories. If you can't handle jogging/running for whatever reason, then I believe inclined walking is the next best thing.

The fruit/vegetable only diet. I don't know how dumb it was because it was healthy because duh, fruits and veggies are healthy foods. But it was a little dumb because my daily calorie consumption was really low--my main focus was on low calorie veggies and fruits like spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, etc. I lost weight…

Yes. I've been doing this to cut calories. In place of ketchup and things, I've been using seasoning salts, mustards [usually yellow], and Louisiana hot sauces. I've tried using Mrs. Dash seasonings, but... they just taste like nothing to me.

Lol. Alright, alright. Should I say that Option 1's offender is slightly less creepy than Option 2's offender? Because a 'normal' person really wouldn't make their socially unacceptable behaviors known.
-
I just feel like it's normal to have perversions, whether we act on them or not is something different... But I can picture a young knucklehead trying to take pictures of women in a gym to later show to his knucklehead friends. Not saying it's acceptable behavior, but I think it is somewhat normal? But... yeah, not…

Option 1 seems to be the action of a somewhat 'normal' guy. Option 2 seems to be the action of someone who's a little off.

I've lost weight on the elliptical machine. I really can't remember the specifics, but it was at a time where I had too many overuse injuries from jogging/walking on the treadmill. I would pedal/jog/whatever for about an hour a day on the elliptical. I don't have a HRM, so I don't know how many calories I actually burned,…

I have started to attend the gym regularly again.

I walked about 5.25 miles on the treadmill.

I feel better creating a calorie deficit through exercise alone versus diet alone. I don't feel hangry and the extra calories give me the energy I need to exercise to make them disappear.... The 75 pounds I've lost thus far is from exercise alone, the treadmill mostly. I really hate the elliptical..... If I were the type…

Walking for 40 minutes on the treadmill at 3.0 mph with a 10% incline. My heart rate was definitely up there.

I appreciate you sharing your struggles. Very inspiring.

Getting back into the gym this morning and not buying a huge cinnamon bun.... which I might have today since it will be within my calorie budget.

I think I was a sociopath in a former life.

I've done some of everything today: 15 minutes on the elliptical, 15 minutes on the arc trainer, 15 minutes on the stationary bike, 30 minutes walking up Mt. Kilimanjaro on the treadmill, jogged a mile on the treadmill.

well... Because of just about every reason you can think of. Including I just don't like where I am in life. Ive been a failure for far too long, but I can only blame myself because I've had many shots at success in the past. Maybe I just don't want happiness because it involves too much hard work. I never feel guilty…

I just want to try to be happy or at least satisfied with my life.

If you're truly sleep deprived, your workout won't last very long whether it's cardio or strength. How do I know? My day starts early and ends around midnight. Then I go to the gym. I have almost fallen asleep on the treadmill and I've fallen asleep in the middle of lifting and using the recumbent elliptical. Point is if…

12/02: 70 minutes, walked/jogged 4.09 miles. 12/03: Lazy day. 12/04: 30 minutes on elliptical.

So, I have a foot more to go.

At first, I didn't like seeing red, but I've noticed that the more time I spend reading the forums, the less aggressive I become when it comes to sticking to my net calories... I don't know if this is a good or bad thing. I was going pretty hard and made sure that the day never ENDED in red, but I've slacked off this past…

Well, as someone who's been morbidly obese her entire adult life, this neither depresses nor surprises me. It says I have a higher bmi than 100% of the world's females in my age group. It says I'm from Tonga. I like this, though.
