I had to stop buying peanuts a while ago as well, they're just too hard to stop eating! I never got that hit of energy that you get from them though, I wonder what's causing that???

Right now it's a holiday coming up in two months that will require a lot of bikini wearing!

Was just going to recommend this too, beat me to it :-)
-
I'd take it as a compliment :-)

I went through a short phase like that at the start - but once the exercise and new diet became a habit and just a normal part of life, I got over it. I don't think it's a bad thing at the start if you're learning new things about diet and exercise, the more you know I think the better chance you have of developing a…

Yes I think you're worrying about that too much - try to have a more long term view of things. Not exercising for one day isn't the end of the world, you just don't want to make a habit of it all the time.

These look soooo good! Making them this week, will be a nice change from just a piece of meat and veggies next to it on the plate :-)

How I wish there was such an option! I just limit myself to four squares of chocolate a day (133 calories). Occassionally I have more, then feel totally guilty and wonder why I even keep it in the house.

Goal is size 6 (Australian, US I think that's a 0/2?), pretty much there but now I'm more interested in getting toned rather than getting smaller. As someone else mentioned in the thread, I just want to look good naked!

I get cravings for chocolate badly - yes I will eat a fair bit of it daily for a few days but do try to be mindful of how much I'm eating. I won't just grab the block and sit down with it (as much as that's what I'd love to do!). No I'm not using PMS to validate that - I certainly don't sit down and thinkg, ok now's the…

Closer to #2 - I eat healthy most of the time, but can't completely cut out chocolate etc. Trying to go completely #1 was unsustainable for me and wasn't able to stick to the diet. Life's too short to deprive myself of the good things every now and then

Alice in Chains - Would? I'm stuck in the early nineties with music at the moment :-)

Yes roast vegies are delish! You can do a few days worth at a time, and the sweetness roasting brings out in the veggies makes them alot more enjoyable to eat if they're not really your thing.

While I was losing weight, I didn't eat back my exercise calories but I wasn't burning a really high amount either. There's alot of varying opinions on this though and I don't think there's a definite right or wrong answer. I wouldn't be too concerned about it if you're burning 100 calories exercising, maybe at around…

Ok well I want to lift my bum, get a bit more muscle there and in my thighs, but not bulky. So whatever you call that is what I'm aiming for

Thanks guys - sorry my original post wasn't all that clear. I'm fine with the calorie deficit/losing weight part - interested in recommendations on toning bum and thighs. I don't have a gym membership - I only work out at home. I was thinking squats and lunges, but was worried that the exercises would get repetetive and…

I haven't been to the gym in a couple of years now (been working out at home) but when I did used to go, I can't say I ever had any negative experiences either. The worst was definitely just people who hogged some equipment - like they own the place or something.
