This is my first time joining a challenge. I need the accountability. 1. Stay under 50g net carbs everyday 2. Log my food every day 3. Exercise 4 times a week - cardio & strength training each session 4. Drink at least 64oz of water a day

I'm am planning to have a healthy & fit pregnancy. I haven't been able to exercise because I'm so tired lately and I still can't eat much. I'm hoping all of this will change as I go into my 2nd trimester. I have a membership to the local YMCA and I plan to use it. I am determined to be heatlhy.

I LOVE the title of your post. I find myself feeling this way towards sweets sometimes.

I was told by the people at Curves that in order to find my waist I would need to bend side to side and make sure I was measuring where my body bends.

I too have PCOS and Insulin Resistance and have to wach my carb intake. I basically eat meat, veggies and fruit (1 serving a day.) But, I have whole wheat double fiber bread at lunch if I want a sandwhich. If I want a potatoe I have a sweet potatoe with promise light butter and cinnamon. When we have pasta I use the…

I'm trying to lose weight to be able to have a baby as well. I started out with 107lbs to lose and now I'm down to 75. It still sounds like a lot but I KNOW I CAN DO IT and you can too. Hang in there. Take it day by day. Good luck on your journey.

You look amazing. This is such an inspiration. Good Job!

This happened to me after I got married. Mine were so tight I never wanted to wear them. I really noticed a difference after having lost 20lbs and now they are pretty loose but not coming off yet! You will be able to wear them again soon.

I've never had a good experience with birth control and unfortunately I've been on off and on it since I was 12. Each time I would gain 20 to 40lbs and come off of it, then the weight would come off and I'd be okay. That didn't happen the last time for me so here I am. My doctor continued to tell me that it wasn't the…

I don't know the answer but I would think so. Go to www.polarusa.com and you should be able to find out. If not you may want to email or call their customer service dept. and ask. Good luck!

My Sheltie must have his daily exercices or else he will chew on things and bark way too much. He is definitely motivation and I love to see that happy face while we're walking!!!

This happened to me recently. I hit a 3 week plateau, was eating around 1200 calories and burning off 345. I don't think I was eating enough. Now I'm eating around 1400 calories and I've added strength training to my cardiovascular. I lost a pound last week and another this week. I have PCOS so it's really hard to lose but…

I actually wound up with a size 16 jeans when I was in a 22. I tried them on and they wouldn't go past my knees. I thought I was buying a 10 for my sister and when she got home it was the size 16. We got them from Kohls and the closest one is about 45 minutes away so rather than take them back I took the pants home with me…

I did this just last week. I mixed field greens with spinach and bell peppers in a huge container. In separate tuppeware containers I cut up tomatoes and onions. Then when I got my lunch together I used snack bags for the individual cheese, tomatoes and onions. I put it all together at lunch and it was great. The salad…

I have high cholesterol. It was 220 in June 2008 then I was put on the Metformin, Spironolactone (for hormone imbalance) and Birth Control in June. My lab work in Feb. 09 showed that it went up to 262. Birth Control can raise cholesterol and triglyceride levels from what I've read. And to be honest I feel like I'm living…

Finally weighing less than my husband!!!

I met with a nutritionist who suggested having one night a week to have something sweet - what ever I want. She suggested I buy it at a store or bakery so I don't have the temptation at home. It's kinda like my reward for the week!

I completely agree with this. I allowed myself to have foods that I don't usually have today BUT I worked in activities. My family and I went fishing for about 2 hours and that included walks up and down steep hills to get to the fishing hole!!! I had fun, ate what I wanted and there is absolutely no reason to feel guilty.…

Every three to four hours I have a snack and a bottle of water. If I get hungry sometime I get a Borden Double Twist Cheese Stick and Some fruit. Or laughing cow light cheese and whole grain crackers. The fiber will ward off hunger pains. It usually does the trick.

This sound sooooo good! I'll have to try it!

I walk for an hour at lunch. This is a great tool to relieve stress and get your exercise. Then in the evening if I feel up to it I walk again for as long as I feel like it. If I'm too tired I don't have to worry about it! I think everyone just has to figure out what works best for them.
