  • I'm a fan of smoothies for breakfast - they're fast and you can have them on the go. For example, banana, peanut butter, protein powder, milk and a few ice cubes blended together, which has a nice balance of protein and carbs
  • Hiya I'm Catherine, 28, from London. I'm aiming to lose about 20lb to get to my goal weight of 130lb, though I'm not sure if that's what I'll aim to maintain at - I want to see what I look like at that weight first. I enjoy a load of different sports, used to play a lot of hockey, but now I mostly run/swim/cycle for cardio…
  • I'm doing the classic. Did plyo last night, am paying for it today!! Think I might be walking funny....
  • Heya I'm starting P90X on Monday too. Have started it previously but only got about 2 weeks in before schedule changes got in the way and I had to switch to other workouts. Looking forward to doing it again. I'll be doing the nutrition plan, but switching to phase two (the energy booster) fairly quickly I hope as I cycle…
  • For me Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day will be free days, though I'll prob get a run in on Boxing Day morning. I think it's important to allow yourself some time to relax and enjoy every once in a while - personally, it keeps me sane.
  • Congratulations everybody on making it through to the end!! I started the challenge at 158lb and now I'm down to 152, having hit an all time low of 151! It may not be 20lb but it's still a big change for me! Happy thanksgiving everyone, have a great day, and hope to see you all in a new challenge soon :-D
  • Afraid not - unless the company will post their nutritional info then you're sort of stuck. The only suggestion I can make is to write it off as a meal you cannot track, enjoy every bite, and kick some major butt in a workout before/afterwards to make up for it! Vapiano's is DELICIOUS!
  • Yum,that smoothie sounds lovely - 8! I just had a juicy pear
  • Is it really 14 weeks??! It's flown by! I hope everyone's having a good Monday. I have a feeling this week will be maintenance for me, but that's ok because I had a big loss last week. In other news, I also ran a 3 mile PB this weekend so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself!! Thinking about getting some Christmas…
  • Definitely would be interested in keeping this going/starting a new challenge - the weekly weigh ins are a great reminder for me. And thanks to you guys I'm down to my lowest weight ever! 151lb! I can feel how close the 140's are now!! :-)
  • Morning all. Maintained this week. Blast. Better than a gain I suppose!
  • Hi, Sorry to be a little picky here but can I just point out that the peroneus brevis (which is better and more commonly known as the fibularis brevis) is a muscle, not a tendon. The tendons of the fibularis brevis attach it to the fibula and the base of the fifth metatarsal in the foot. Additionally, it's not a bone, so…
  • Great job on your loss!! 11stone is right around the corner! I completely agree - i haven't lost anywhere near 20lbs in this challenge, but it really has given me a confidence boost that even though I'm losing slowly, the weight is staying off, and that feels great. Yeah, I might not have lost as much as I could have if…
  • Oh my goodness - only 4?!!? It's gone so quick!!
  • Well done everyone so far! I'm at 153.8 today, the lightest I've been in a long long time! The weight is coming off, definitely very very slowly though, but I think I'm ok with that, because apart from the odd measurement between 0.5 and 1lb, which I count as bodily fluctuation it's all on the way down! And some extra…
  • Morning fruits! I've gained a pound this week - not at all surprised though - I've had flu and I've been comfort eating. In fact, now I think about it, I'm surprised it wasn't more than a pound, so I'm happy! Going for a short run tonight when I get home from work to see if I'll be able to combine exercising and breathing…
  • Morning everyone and congats on the weight loss so far - 3lbs is amazing!! And of course - congratulations on the pregnancy!! As you can see we're all thrilled for you!! :-D Unfortunately, I have gained this week and I'm back up to 156lb. A sprained ankle and not much exercising has really not agreed with me. And of course…
  • Sorry for not adding my weight yesterday ladies - I got home really late and it completely slipped my mind - could someone be kind enough to update my weight to 154.8? Congratulations to all that lost this week, and fear not if you had a gain - there will always be little ups and downs, so just take this week, learn from…
  • Hi all you gorgeous fruits! Sorry for being so quiet on our forum this week - I'm still here!! Last week was maintenance, hoping for something good on the scale tomorrow. Oh, and i'll try and get a picture of something puuuuurrrty on my run tonight!! Hope you're all keeping well Cathy xx
  • Not sure about the specific address for the video, but the guy is Ben Davis and his website is www.bendoeslife.tumblr.com
  • I signed up for my first marathon by accident. My friend and I were walking an overnight marathon for a breast cancer charity (the moonwalk), and as an incentive for people to donate money to such a good cause we pledged to RUN a marathon, but only if we raised over £1000 for the moonwalk. Which we really didn't think we'd…
  • Love that man. Great article.
  • Yup, dry shampoo is my new best friend. I use batiste.
  • These are great ideas guys! I like to have either leftovers from the night before, portioned up in bento boxes so I dont eat too much! Or soups or wraps, plus lots of fruit and a little extra snack like a snack size toffee crisp or aero, around 99cal. Generally I split my lunch throughout the day as I find it keeps me…
  • Morning fruits!! Well I weighed in this morning at 156.2 so I've lost just under a pound, and that puts me back on track after the last couple of weeks of bouncing around the same numbers. It's completely my own fault because I've found lots of excuses to indulge, but now I feel a bit better that I can get it back on…
  • I'm in almost the exact same position as you - I cook as much of my own stuff from fresh produce as I can, I eat a lot of fruit and veg (I actually don't track my sugar because the fruit always pushes me over - I just try and make sure it is natural sugar from natural sources) and I also would really struggle to get…
  • Just like everyone else has said - great challenge idea! It's so true, each weekend there seems to be an excuse to relax and indulge! But NOT THIS ONE MY FRUITY FRIENDS!!! Not feeling too optimistic about tomorrow's weigh-in - I've given my bike a rest this week, taking the train into work each day and then running when I…
