Hi, I'm not quite 50, but am close enough to figure I can chime in. I've really struggled the past 9 months and like the OP, I'll see the scale drop 2 - 3 pounds and then jump right back to where I started with no understanding of why. I can tell I'm getting near menopause and wish I could expedite the process.

I'm on week 2, day 2. I didn't do all of week 1 - I think I skipped lower focus. This was due to the fact that I'm adjusting to working out in the mornings and I overslept. I did Total Body today and that one kicks my butt. My shoulders are fried from the pushups/spiders/oblique push ups.

hi, I think you may be eating to few calories, and this is coming from someone who eats 1200 per day. I actually hate when people say that, but I'm saying it because you've been eating so few calories for so long. Mine is open. Personally, I don't think many people are looking at my diary - why would they? However, it's there if someone wants to check for new ideas (not likely to get them from me, but you never know). I occasionally check other people's diaries for inspiration, but I don't look at them to judge food choices.

Exactly! I admit to hating that I can't easily find nutrition information, even for some chain restaurants. However, I don't want a law that some gov't department would have to oversee (which costs money) and then fine companies who aren't compliant, etc.

I would guess it's fine. Lots of people eat coconut oil or drink a BPC for additional fat.

Hi, are you new to Keto? Most of us doing Keto monitor our carbs and stay fairly low. I don't know how many also have diabetes. I do not.

I've seen a bunch of stuff I'd like to try. Most of the stuff I've seen is on FB. However, we FINALLY have a rain free mild weekend, so I'll be spending as much time as possible outside and not indoors cooking. I have trees to replant, soccer games to go to and a Sikha festival to attend.

I'm not a person who likes to cook either. I go to Kroger and get their precooked shredded chicken, unbreaded fried chicken and eat a lot of it during the week. More than likely, your salt intake was considerably higher than it was when you ate at home. Most places salt their burgers, eggs, etc. I'd guess you retained a bit of water and because you were drinking less than usual it stayed with you. Give it a few days at home, with increased water consumption and see if that helps.
