Im looking into poi hooping too. I use a 160psi 3/4" tubing for my hoop. I find it a perfect weight actually but, wondered about the polypro ones. Let me know when/if you get the mini hoops. I'm sure we could make those too ha?

If anyone has any good links for practicing hoop moves, please post them! You never know when even one move clicks and helps someone! Just seeing it from a different perspective can help. :smile:

What festival? I keep looking around for some in my area (New England) but, never can find any! Can't you make your own LED hoop? That's my goal to make one for the fall.

Wyodawn - You mentioned you dance, hoop, etc. Can you give me tips on linking my hoop tricks together. I've learned to do the vortex, halo, I'm working on knee hooping but, how do you just connect them all as you dance? Is it more about practice? Did you teach yourself? I'd take any tips you can offer!

Ok here is the link: First let me say, I've been corrected that this is called 'shoulder hooping.' Either way, it helped me get that movement of my chest. I've been making my own hoops. I use 160psi 3/4" irrigation tubing found at Lowe's. (Home Depot is a bit more expensive) I buy the 100 foot roll.

My favorites are - Skinny Girl Margarita or SG Pina Colada. I've seen the SG line of wines but, have not tried them. I'll also use crystal light lemon ice tea mix with lemon rum and a splash of diet tonic or club soda. Stick with the clear alcohols, avoid sodas and mixes if you can. I would say you are right on with your hoop size. 3/4" PSI 160 is great. If you go with PSI 100 it is noticably lighter and I think the 160 will help you. Hoop right and left and just keep practicing. It will click and you'll know when it does. Good luck! :wink:

I agree with rinsing them however, you need not even par boil them. Soak them in hot water (while rinsing) add your hot toppings, IE: veggies, etc. That usually is enough. The noodles don't require cooking! How awesome is that? I love these in stir fries! My only suggestion, don't smell them! LOL - They don't tast like…

I have to tell you that I hula hoop everyday! It's my daily workout. It's amazing and has trimmed my entire body down in no time!

That is BY FAR the worst one I've tried too! I didn't want toss it so, I mixed it with a tub of sugar free cool whip & cream cheese and made a frozen peanut butter pie. It came out pretty good. But, I sure wouldn't buy it again. Have you tried PB2? It's AWESOME! Give it a try you won't be disappointed!

I LOVE blue diamond unsweetened almond and/or almond & coconut milk. They are like 40 & 45 calories. 1& 2 carbs. low fat. I want to try the chocolate one for my protein shakes. I'm not a huge fan of soy.
