  • Hi! I am currently going to the gym 5 days a week and have seen a difference in my legs and arms but not my stomach! My measurements have not changed in 5 weeks of an exercise plan set up by a trainer. I am almost 50. Are there any other members that are having the same prob and any suggestions????

  • Hi! I use a treadmill for 40 minutes a morning, start at 3.6 miles per hour and work my way up to 4.0 for the last few minutes. I do the hill program walkng. It goes up from a 3.0 incline to 7 and back down again. Does anyone else do this and am I on the right exercise track?
  • If you want to have fun and a good laugh or 2, try the Wii. We love ours and I just got the wii exercise component and love it. We do have a blast with the boxing and it is way too much fun! The Wii is priced right also which is great. the only drawback is it does not act like a dvd player which our Playstation did.

  • I agree! I love the Fit and Lively Pizza from Pizza Hut as it has less cheese but yummies. I'd look at a thin and crispy, ask for light on the cheese and load it with lots of veggies and jalepenos for zing!!!

  • Hi Christy! I don't have 50 to lose but believe me, I need a lot of support in my weight loss goals. One day at a time is the only way I can do it and not beating myself up when I fall into a plate of chicken wings. I think for me it is taking a good look at the stuff I was eating and thinking of long term health.

  • Hi! It is also not a great idea to eat just before bedtime. I was a habitual snacker at night and as I got older, I started to have problems with my digestive system. The doc told me to stop eating at least 3 hours before bedtime and I cannot tell you what a difference it made for me.

  • Made some tasty humus today! 1 can of chickpeas, 1 large clove of fresh garlic, 2 TBSP of olive oil, 1 large freshly squeezed lemon. The recipe called for sesame oil but I did not add that, did not want the extra fat. Blended it up and ate 1 helping with fresh carrots. Very nice!!!!

  • Thanks so much! I really like this site and like all the tools. I need to keep a food journal. I used to be on weight watchers but found I did not eat well at all and had a hard time tracking the good foods I needed to eat. Hope this will help me!!
