Keep monitoring my calories. I work at a horse farm so the extra work all the snow gives me (pushing wheelbarrows, bringing horses in and out, etc) gives me extra calories burned. I also eat better at home than I do at school, so I'm planning on (by that point) maintaining and nothing else!

It's not an all-or-nothing thing, but you do need to sacrifice something, otherwise, what's the point at all? This is a lifestyle change, not a diet. When I went back to school in September, I gained 7 pounds in 10 days. And I drink lots of water, eat lots of veggies, and walk everywhere (and do barn chores 4 days a week, 3hrs/shift). That's when I learned: Portion size is everything!!

As a working student (who also rides/trains horses, plays volleyball, president of a yearly event at school, and tries to work out for 30-60 minutes Mon-Fri and is foolish enough to have friends and a boyfriend) I feel your pain! GW: 12lbs to go (plus maybe an extra one or two because we all know what happens Christmas day....), flat (MUSCULAR) stomach, and overall clean-inside-out happy feeling. :)
