Try to eat foods that are processed as little as possible. Frozen entrees, soups, and boxed/canned goods are some of the worst contenders. Also, look for lower sodium bread and try to avoid prepackaged lunch meat. I switched to unsalted nuts, low sodium cottage cheese, lower sodium salad dressing, and I always try to check…

Ripped in 30 is awesome! I know it's another JM DVD, but seriously, I love it--so much better than the 30DS, with much more variety, better warm ups, and it's a better overall work out. Definitely worth a try!

I like mixing mine with black beans, a bit of garlic/salt, and some avocado or cheese. I also make a quinoa/black bean/tomato/Italian dressing salad quite often!

*This may have been discussed already, so apologies if it has* But I was wondering, how do you ladies get enough calories and maintain a reasonable sodium level? I've recently been trying to pay attention to how much sodium I'm consuming and I'm finding it harder to stay around my goal on the days that I eat more due to…

Sodium always gets me. If I go over, the scale jumps up 3-5 pounds overnight. I've been trying to monitor it but it's surprisingly difficult to cut down on as it is even in a lot of the healthier options I enjoy. Arrgh.

So happy I found this topic! I'm 5'8, 220ish, and I recently upped my calories to 1800-2200 net per day because I've hit a major plateau and I realized that 1200-1400 net calories just isn't enough for me. It's been a couple of weeks and nothing's really changed so far, but here's hoping!

I just started this week and am on day 3 of week 1. I plan to alternate it with running for the next two months instead of completing it in 30 days straight. I'm loving it so far! I did the 30 Day Shred and that was fine but this workout is much more my speed and I like that most of the things that annoyed me in 30DS were…

I gained a couple of ounces, but I'm not worried because it was TOM and I had some higher sodium days as well...that puts me at 220 this morning and my goal is 200 by October 7!

Another October 7 in the house! My goal is to hit 200 (or as close to it as possible) by my birthday :)

Continually going under your calories could be the culprit, actually--I was struggling with this recently and bumping up/"cycling" my calories seems to be helping so far!
-
Thanks, everyone! I am trying to up my intake and I changed my goal to losing 1.5 pounds/week to see if that will help!

I try to, but I'm not always able to do so, especially if I exercise a lot. What type of workouts are you doing? I've been doing the 30 Day Shred for the month of…
