RemDogzMa, pinterest is great...my only problem is there's just way too many good ideas and the whole overwhelmed thing kicks in....and then I end up sitting there forever trying to make up my mind and never actually making anything...lol

Thanks 2belll, I love curry so those sound like great ideas! Also I did pick up some Gluten free all purpose flour since my original post... hoping to stock up on some basics a little bit each month as I'm able.

honestly...I wouldn't be surprised if it is accurate... it seems crazy when I first think about it but when I stop and think about when I eat out how quick those calories can add up....I can imagine at a buffet it'd be easy to get to 9500 without realizing it

Are you getting enough protein? Protein is what helps keep you feeling full....it's were I struggle the most.

how do you scan the bar code? I can't find that option on either my phone (blackberry) or on my tablet (android). Guessing it might be an option specific to iPhone?

Keep in mind, if you are working out you are building muscle...muscle, I believe is heavier then fat...so don't get too discouraged by not seeing the numbers change on the scale yet...it will come...in the meantime you're getting healthier. :)

I'm 5'1" and 30, currently I'm about 148lbs and have a short term goal of 135 and a long term goal of 125. More then numbers though I just want to be healthier, have more energy, and feel good. :)
