My view on body positivity is that everybody has the right to feel comfortable in their own skin regardless of their size. Likewise, everybody should keep snarky, rude and insulting remarks to themselves. That includes those shaming people for being overweight and also those shaming people for NOT being overweight ('skinnyโฆ

I miss hugging (or even seeing) my family. I miss the sound of chatter and music that hits you as you walk into a pub. I miss going to gigs. I miss the spontaneity of being able to decide to go out on the spur of the moment. Damn this pandemic! The other side will be all the more sweet!

Any 2 out of 3 is a winner in my book ๐

My advice? Ignore them, keep being you with NO APOLOGIES! If you get any more comments about being "that skinny" just look them up and down and then tell them that they have nothing to worry about ๐ You've got this! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ

Morning (or evening in your case!) Jo. My goal is to shake off the rust. No more covid comfort eating or depression hibernating. My goal is to get back to the shape I was in my profile pic in 2016 ๐

Happy New Year from the Tier 3 North!

Crabs in a bucket mentality is real. I'd personally consider "I'd never want to be that skinny" a tad insulting. To me it translates to "Please stop improving yourself as it's exposing my own self-imposed limitations." The fitness community has been the most supportive bunch of people I have ever been in touch with.โฆ

As predictable and primitive as it gets, big bum, big boobs and big smile! ๐

For sure, too much time spent in the covid kitchen, lockdown larder, the pandemic pantry! 2020 has done a number on me both mentally and physically. Time to cut out the ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ
