I'd be tempted to say (assuming you havent cheated too much!!) just go and enjoy yourself and eat what you want (within reason) just do an extra session or two of exercise when you return.

Try to avoid carbs around 2hrs before you go to bed. If you are serious about loosing weight then you should spread your calorie intake out throughout the day so ye you should prepare some lunch :) In terms of exercise you could just do for a run round the block for 20 - 40 min 3/4 nights a week.

Maybe if you have having trouble finding time to cook regularly you can just make larger potions of food when you do cook and then freeze it. Just defrost in the microwave for a couple of minutes and enjoy...sure it doesn't taste as good as if it were fresh but hey! thats what you get for being healthy!!
