I'm much more sedentary than I used to be so maybe my calories are too high and maybe try and cut down on sugar in my tea etc and replace with more protein then. Find it hard to get motivated for exercise after working long hours sat on my bum in an office, I often don't finish till midnight and wouldn't like to walk home…

Vegetable stew made from bone broth, dishes made with heart, liver and any other offal that you don't find offensive! Tongue, oxtail, scrag end all very cheap. Eating like this is the only way we can afford grass fed but we're probably healthier for it!

One of the ingredients in your lite dressing is spices, just an idea but MSG is often called "spices" to hide it, that can make you hungry after you've eaten

I take a small amount in a glass of water most days, not been ill once since I've been doing it. Also works wonders for water infections. I think like a lot of things overdoing it wouldn't be good but with my various "old wives tales" I manage to keep myself and my family away from lining the pharmaceutical companies…

Hi, I've just started atkins induction too, on day 6 but seem to be going up in weight each day?!! TOM so would that have anything to do with it? Grateful for any advice!

Weight seems to be going up by 2lb a day at the mo! Now I know I'm not eating enough for that to happen and carbs are low, it is my TOM so maybe that's it. I'll try keeping calories down to 15000 and see what happens

Thanks, some days I'm just hungry and go waaay over what I think I need as a 5'3 woman, other days it's easier to stick to 15000 cals. Only started weighing myself yesterday so I guess i'll see soon if i'm doing it right or not!

Hi, I had the lightheaded thing too, my blood pressure has always been on the low side of normal. After lots of googling the subject I added more sea salt to my diet, that sorted the problem out.

There is NO WAY on this earth that your TDEE is 1470. I'm 5'3 and mine is 2400, and I don't work out! Walking is my excercise.
