  • mrsmandi-- at our center, they installed a flat screen that plays a jillian video as you work out. It shows extra muscle toning/cardio things you can do when you are on the recovery boards. It shows a lower impact version of the same moves too.
  • I've done the JM workouts the past 2 days now and I am sore!! Wow! It really works you! And by my HRM I'm burning from 35 (I slacked most of it) to 50 extra calories per workout! Love that! I like the extra push and I hope it sticks around.

  • I had a picnic style lunch with my 6 year old today. I had a PB&J, (1tbs Peter Pan PB & 1tbs Welchs grape jelly on an Arnolds white sandwich round), 1/2 cup of strawberry halves and 25 pretzel sticks. 329 calories
  • I forgot to add that I've been at my Curves since Sept 2010. Also, at my Curves, the manager switches out machines every so often and we have 'wacky Wednesdays' were we go the opposite direction around the circuit. If you do find that you are bored, ask your manager to try it. It really keeps your mind working.
