what a wonderful idea for a thread BEERRUNNER - and I like how your name is in all caps so it's like it must be yelled.

Surround yourself with friends/family that will support you and make you laugh. For me, if my spirits are boosted (even just a little bit) I'll snack on a little something. So, try to meet up with a good friend, have your favorite snack close by, and laugh about something. :) Also, ... be sure to talk about your stresses…

thank you. :) I guess I should just trust my body and not force anything along.

lol! yay! guano girls!

Granted - You can no longer smell me, but you also can't smell anything else because ... dun dun DUN! your nose is GONE! (And I took a shower) I wish cmriverside could smell again.

Granted. The 10,000 bats that just moved into your attic took care of them for you. Wish angelworm didn't smell like guano. [/quote] I'm Batman?

Flowers are nice, yes. But I'm thankful that my husband and I *always* say I love you to each other when we part or go to bed. Even if I'm talking to him on the phone and pulling up into the driveway and he's standing outside the house so I can see him, I'll say "I love you" before I hang up the freakin' phone. Silly, yes,…

Raw Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (yes, a log of dough) and a tall glass of milk (sometimes it was whole milk)

You finally get your vacation planned, but then the day before you leave for it the world finally ends. I wish there weren't any mosquitos.

Good thing you didn't say that he was dead - that would have been aweful

my hubby says his fav. body part of mine is my butt. I'm learning to love it too. But I guess i love my eyes because they are olive green. :)

this really made me laugh

the dishes wash themselves - but even when you're not done eating, and you can never use your dishes because if they get a speck of food on them they immediately clean themselves. I wish that my 4 year old was more well behaved.

maybe that's what i actually do. lol

*twinkle* you have Jedi powers, but you become overcome with hate and fear because you believe your wife is going to die and you want to stop it - so you join with dark forces and battle your best friend. He cuts off your arm and legs and you catch on fire and nearly die. Your wife dies anyway because she hates what you've…

The person I'm with *must* have an awesome sense of humor.

*poof* You're the most interesting man alive, but women still seem to hook up with arrogant a-holes. I wish I could be 8 years old again for one whole day.

5 lbs. is a lot of weight to drop in a week's time. Even if it *is* water weight.
-
It takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there like that. :) It takes even more guts to stick with it and continually strive to be a better you. Awesome job. I can't even run 5K. lol!

This is a great place to get support from people that are going through the same things you are! :)

carbs are fillers. imagine how much more yummy steak you could have by limiting your potatos. :)

Are we strictly talking about zombies from Resident Evil? Or can we also include the slower zombies from Sean of the Dead?

I'm on week #2 of P90X classic. I really like the classic because the weight lifting makes me feel tough. lol! I originally tried the lean version back in Feb. of last year and I didn't feel like I was getting the results I was after. Although I really liked the Core Synergistics DVD, I'm starting to appreciate the…

Currently, I'm doing P90X and just finished my first week of it. I really like how every day is a different work out. It keeps me entertained while I am getting fit. :) I will say that yes, it does demand more time than usual workout routines. The DVDs that have weight lifting and weight training have you do all your sets…

Also - don't get upset with yourself if one day you color outside the lines that you've established for yourself. Take every day as it comes, take every meal, every workout as it comes. And just know that even if you get a little sloppy that you'll do better tomorrow. It's not an all or nothing situation. There will come a…

Yes, this *must* be a lifestyle change and not just a diet. It's not a quick fix, it's a lifetime committment. Make a list of your indulgences - whatever they may be (chocolate, video games, sleeping, shopping) - look at whatever it is that you do to pacify your feelings and/or avoid them altogether. Make a list and then…

I totally agree with the portion control thing. The nice thing about the site is you can kind of plan your meals and snacks for the day because you can edit your day. We *should* be hungry about every 3 hours. And if we're behaving ourselves, we will tend to eat throughout the day with smaller meals and decent snacks.…
