Nutritionally, you should be eating about three servings of fruit a day. The sugar in them is the good, low glycemic index kind.

I like applesauce bran muffins. The way I make them they only have 73 calories, perfect for when I just want to eat something without feeling full. The Kellogg's website has a ton of great (high fiber) recipes.

Don't go too hard. Start out walking, running 1 minute out of every five or so, and slowly up the time until you're just running.
