Thank ALL for the support! Especially for figuring out how to post that picture. It kicked MY butt! :~)

Just my opinion here, but unless you need to "medically" fast...I wouldn't do it.

SO true! YOU are the winner in the long run! They are going to gain back the weight, and possibly "more". :~)

My spill about the navy was suppose to go with my quote...I guess I haven't figured this thing out yet LOL~!

When I was in the navy [MANY] years ago, I was on the "fat boys" program because I had blossomed from 120 to 187 pounds in a year. Weekly, I was "counseled" on my weight leading me further into a depression and the weight only packed on more. A warrant officer that was doing my counseling said this same thing to me. It…

I'm over my protein for the day as well...but I'd much rather be over on protein than fat. (Trying to focus on an all around balanced diet vs low carb or low fat. But I am putting a little emphasis on watching the fat that I consume.)

SO I just checked, my BMR for my current weight is "Your estimated BMR is: 1,271 calories/day". TY skinnyjean for letting me know that it would add it back...phew!

I'm glad that I am not the only one that wondered about the calorie restriction. I'll try it and see how it goes I suppose.

According to the projected weight loss, I would lose 1 pound a week. 1200 calories is significantly less than I eat now and I do not excercise. I think that if I limit myself to 1200 calories and start the exercise program at the gym (starts tomorrow) I will actually lose too much weight. I am 5'4, 137 pounds with a goal…

I am a travel nurse (started traveling in July of last year) I have gained 15 pounds since then. It is definitely harder to maintain weight while you travel. Hence, the reason I am here. Support Buddy?

I looked at the pictures; GREAT JOB!

I am a nurse and I gained weight in nursing school too and then more as the years have progressed. I'm like a yoyo; weight up, weight down. I'd like to lose 15 pounds while toning up in the process. Since I have no diet/fitness buddy maybe we could motivate each other to get the job done!
