  • That's great!! Keep up the good work.
  • Thanks for those insights! Ziplining sounds like fun, where did you go? I'm hoping those will be motivating enough, if not, I'll just change them. I'm more motivated by just the simple fact of getting healthier and losing weight than the rewards. I've got a Garmin Vivofit3, a treadmill, weight machine, and clothes...my…
  • I already have quite a few workout clothes so that's why they're further down on the list
  • I use a heart rate monitor and for a mile run (9:40 pace) I burned 97 cal according to my heart rate monitor and 130 cal based on the treadmill...I tend to go with the lower number just to be safe! Do you know how far you jogged? You burn around 100 cal/mile, a little less if you're going slowly.
  • I gained about 10 lbs when I came off the pill (a little over a year ago). The weight gain was pretty sudden, within a month or two of going off. Since then, I've been diagnosed with PCOS which the pill was masking the symptoms of. Weight gain is the most common symptom :(
  • I run with my golden (when it's not 106*F out!) and I have found that using a "gentle leader" works best. She's 3 and has a ton of energy. She'd always pull on her leash until we started using this and it has been a life (and arm) saver.…
  • I averaged around 1450-1550 calories a day, found that was a good place for me. Yes, I did eat back all of my exercise calories. I've lost about 18lbs, I'm very happy with where I'm at but would like to lose a few more lbs. We're leaving for a European vacation on Wednesday so doubt I'll be losing those lbs anytime soon :)
  • I'm 5'3" and at about 137lbs right now, size 4. When I started I was at about 155lbs and a size 8/10. I never set out to be a certain size, it just kind of happened. Still feel like I have enough curves :) Good luck!
  • Great job! I've run 5 miles before (like a year and a half ago!) but have never run 6! I did a 4 mile race this morning at about a 9:11 pace and was really happy with that, not sure I could do 6 though. That's fabulous, keep up the good work!
  • I love Bucas! Their pizzas are on a very thin crust so that could be an option. Or you could just indulge and enjoy!
  • 1. I fit back into my wedding dress! 2. I can wear shorts comfortably. 3. I "feel" thin. 4. All the clothes I bought for my honeymoon 3 years ago fit me again. 5. I can wear a size 4!
  • I weigh myself most mornings but only record on Friday or Saturday morning.
  • I love bananas....especially cut up on top of cheerios...or rice crispies

  • I would also take a rest day or two. I wish I could give blood but tend to pass out whenever I try! Good luck!
  • I try to eat healthy most of the time but I do allow my self to have some other foods also....like cookie cake...today, and it was delicious! I've lost 17lbs with eating in moderation.
  • As a teacher, I get home from school and am so hungry! I've found that having a 100 cal snack in my car on the way home and then chewing gum helps me not to snack. We eat dinner pretty early (around 5 or 5:30) so I usually have about an hour after I get home until we eat dinner.

  • Probably...a couple years ago I lost 10lbs in about a week and a half due to Gallbladder surgery and got down to 140lbs. Within a couple weeks of eating "normally" I was back up to about 148lbs. You're body will need to replenish the fluids you lost, I wouldn't worry about it too much though, just stay the course. Hope…
  • I've been losing about 4lbs/month which has been good for me. I'm down 17lbs since starting at the beginning of the year and have 8lbs more to go to reach my goal weight of 130lbs. Slow and steady! I lost about 25lbs before my wedding and was working out like crazy/not eating very much, thus after I got married I quickly…
  • My husband is 5'10" at 127lbs. Very thin but not "too" thin, he's still pretty strong. My goal is to get to 130lbs, I don't know if I'll ever weigh less than him but we have different body types and I've accepted that.
  • When we camp, we obviously grill a lot. Chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, etc. We also usually bring sandwich materials for lunches. Have fun!

  • I started at 155, size 8-10. I'm now at 139 and just bought a pair of size 4 jeans at Banana Republic! So exicted!! Most of my other pants are 6s right now.
  • With running, I've sometimes gotten a chill when I'm pushing myself too hard.
  • Isn't that a great feeling! I had a friend say that too me last weekend and it made my day. Congrats!
  • I am so sorry you're going through this! I have not had lice but am an elementary school teacher. Last year there were 5 cases in my class...this year, none so far (fingers crossed!). We had quite a few cases this past fall but luckily they've stopped. I know that some people claim that hair spray deters them...not sure if…
  • I was eating 1450 cal and losing weight at about a lb a week. Then I dropped to 1350 cal and stopped losing for a few weeks. Frustrated with no weight loss and fewer calories, I decided to bump it back up to 1450 and started losing weight again. Like some other posters have said...try eating more! :) Also, are you eating…
  • When I finish a hard run, my heart rate is usually at least 168 and I am in pretty good shape...that's the meaning of "cardio" though...working your heart. That being said, I usually run 3 miles in under 30 min so my heart rate isn't that high for too long. I like to alternate days when I run and walk so I get good mix of…
  • Good luck!
  • That how my shorts are too! Such a great feeling! I bought a pair last year that I didn't even wear because I just didn't feel comfortable in them. This year, they fit perfectly! Love it!
  • Great job! Down 4 sizes is incredible! I am wearing a pair of shorts today (comfortably!) that were too tight last summer so I am celebrating as well!
  • I have some slow churned caramel swirl in the freezer right now! I love having half a cup (63g measured on a food scale) with 14 g (1/2 a serving) of dry roasted peanuts. So yummy for about 200 cal!
