  • Hello! I am insanely jealous of your height! I would love to be tall. i'm 30 something 5'5" and about 14 st - cant afford new clothes so had to do something about it. I find the MFP process of logging everything makes it so much easier to keep on top of things and adding exercise calories is strangely rewarding. I wish you…
  • Ive started to walk 3 miles every other day with a mind to building up the stamina to try running. Would love to resume hill walking or long hiking but near impossible with a toddler who refuses to sit in a pushchair... Pleased to meet you.
  • hey! I was hypnotised 6 years ago not to eat chocolate and I cannot stand the stuff now. I may get the odd craving for it but if I succumb I end up really regretting it and remembering how much I hate the stuff. May be worth a try. Welcome to MFP :)
  • I'll never criticise someone who eats loads of crap (but oh so tasty) food. As someone who had a similar diet for years and never gained a lb from it, I should warn you, your body will start to pack in on you in the next ten or so years and then you'll find it bloody impossible to lose weight when it goes on like never…
  • Hello, I'm on west coast. Not the picturesque bit :( Hadn't lost anything (pre weekend - weekend was a wedding and visiting so no chance) Ivory32 you lost 11lbs in 2 weeks? bloody hell! you must be starving yourself. I'd love to lose 11lbs, I'd fit into my clothes again. I've resolved only to weight once a month - too…
  • Ok - I don't open my diary because I don't like sharing *everything* with strangers on the net. There has to be some degree of personal privacy and if it offends you that I keep it that way, then I'm sorry. I can assure you the content of the diet is approved by a dietician and I have no cheat days. I am meticulous about…
  • I dont really have trouble staying on 1200 and only really get hungry one or two days a week but havent had any loss in 3 weeks ( i gained 2.5 kg although just finished steroid dose) I just get confused when I'm told different things by different places.
  • I was in hospital last week, the doctors were desperate for me to have a blood clot on my lung (FWIW I had a chest infection) and the doctor asked me if my legs had always been that size. Embarrassment didn't hit me until later when I thought more about it.
  • I don't know about PCOS but have dont both dairy free and gluten free for allergies. Neither are particularly hard but you have to watch for hidden dairy in processed foods. e.g. cold ham for sandwiches. Gluten is a bit harder because all the nice things have gluten in them but it's quite easy to work around with GF…
  • thank you! Won't be having any more of those in the near future :(
  • Hello! I am also hypo. I was diagnosed almost 2 years ago but have known for about 4/5 years it wasnt right (hashi's) I put on about 49lbs and my weight is now stable but I'm not happy with it. It's the lack of energy that really gets to me. I am looking for people to give me a kick up the bum as I try to lose 40lbs...
