  • I've found I can't have cheat days, or it will ruin my progress from the whole week. But I can have a cheat meal! Also, prelogging has helped me a ton. That way I don't get to the end of the day and realize I have no calories left for dinner or a late night snack.
  • Maybe I forgot the number before I could enter it into the app. Maybe I wanted to test it with and without clothes. Maybe I realized it was slightly crooked on the tiles and wanted to know the surface was flat. Maybe I wanted to make sure that my scale was sure about what it was saying, and clearly it wasn't, so maybe you…
  • Update: Yes, Batteries Plus exists! I know, it's weird. Yes, I weigh on a solid surface. I have changed batteries before, and I don't recall it fixing the problem. Going to try re calibrating, because I do move the scale every time I use it. Clearly I didn't read the directions when I bought it. If that doesn't work, I…
  • Does anyone weigh on carpet? I thought like 99% of people weigh in the bathroom, which I think is very rarely carpet now days. Mine is on linoleum, so that's not the problem. Thank you though.
  • Oh dang, I better start slouching
  • Yep it's on linoleum. Solid surface. I can't think of anything that would be throwing it off.
  • Haha I love that people are so enthralled with the idea of a battery store. Why would I bust out the screw driver and try to find a special battery at Target when I could just go to batteries plus?!
  • Yeah, it's called Batteries Plus. Ha it's a chain. Pretty sure it's all over America, at least. Makes it a lot easier than buying batteries at the Walmart or wherever because you can just bring in whatever you have and they'll unscrew your cover, change your batteries, safely dispose of the old ones. Good for electronics…
  • I dip blueberries in some flavored yogurt and freeze them. DELISH. I've also been into making these little tiny sandwiches with deli meat and cucumber slices instead of bread. And then I dip them in some kind of condiment like mustard. Super low calorie and cute too. Could add cheese or a cherry tomato or something too.…
  • Can I just say "omg?" No suggestions, just omg.
  • I'm on week 5 right now! Doing a treadmill version. I was not a total couch potato, so I started at week 4 day 1, which was more my level. So far, it hasn't been a challenge except for my last run, which was run 8 minutes, walk 5 minutes, run 8 more minutes. That one was rough, but it may be because I was just tired and…
  • I quit having the after work beer, because it's a lot of calories to add so many times a week! I'll drink on special occasions now, like once every 2 or 3 weeks, because it doesn't set me back too much, and I generally just go to sleep afterward. For me, the problem is the hangover day when I want a whole pizza and a big…
  • Me too. I get plain greek yogurt because it's good to use in place of other things in recipes, but for breakfast I'll mix it with berries and sugar free granola and a little honey. Delish.
  • Okay this might be weird, but I just look at myself. Lol. I run on a treadmill in front of a mirror, so I just zone out on my own face or legs or something. Start thinking about the music or my pants or whatever, just zone out.
  • I jumped to week 4 and feel much better with it now. I have no joint issues and have been jogging intermittently without a program for several months, and have strong legs from lifting. So thanks; I'm good now.
  • ^I was talking to the poodle picture person, oops
  • This is totally irrelevant, but cute poodles. I have a 6lb tiny toy named Murphy, and I love him!
  • I definitely go over my weekend calories with alcohol, but i'm a college student and not really "overweight", so I guess it's fine. If I were seriously trying to lose more than 5 lbs, I'd be more careful about counting the beer cals.
  • My boobs for sure. Not sure if that counts since it's not workout/diet related, but still. They're my best feature.
  • Wow you do not look 169lbs in your pic! I'm 5'6" and about 130, and you look the same size! Must have lots of muscle ;)
  • I'm in college :) I'm 21. Add if you want.
  • The hardest part is just getting up and going to the gym. Once you get there, just get it done. After a couple weeks of working out a lot, I actually want to go. But if you don't have a gym, do workout videos on youtube or dvds! I find it hard to make myself work out when the couch is right behind me looking inviting…
  • I have it, and like it. I can't do the full 30 days like you're supposed to because I can't stand doing the same thing 10 days in a row. I like to mix it up. I like her trouble zones dvd too!
  • Mine's always empty during the day because I use my college's gym and everyone's in class. But after 5 is my favorite time because you can park in faculty spots which is convenient.
  • I'll be your friend. I'm 21 and am only trying to lose like 10 lbs or so. But you've done it once; you can do it again! A cheat day can keep you sane, just make sure it's one day and not every day.
  • I'm a Texan too :) I live in Waco (go to Baylor), but am originally from Tyler. Woooooo
