I'm almost 27 and I still enjoy YA books! I teach Jr. High English so I have an excuse to read them! I like giving my students recommendations so I try to read as many as possible. I love the Alice series, I started reading them when I was in Jr high and just finished the most recent book. I just started the 3rd book in…

Bump...thanks!

I wear it right under my boobs along the edge of my bra. I've never had any problems and it doesn't bother me when I'm working out.

Bump for later!

I've never had knee replacement, but I've had reconstructive knee surgery to repair a few torn ligaments and to take out torn cartilage, I wasn't allowed to run on it for 6 months. I was 16 at the time and my doctor told me that I would have to have knee replacement in the future because so much of my cartilage was…

I have an FT7 and it has a large band. I'd say I have medium sized wrists and it fits great. It has a lot of notches on it also.

Born and raised! Now living about an hour south of San Antonio! I love central Texas, though. I went to Texas State and lived in Austin for a while. I love San Marcos!

Scrambled with salt, pepper, and a lot of hot sauce or picante sauce! Or scrambled in a breakfast taco.

I have a Polar FT7 and I love it. I got it from heartratemonitorsusa.com They have the best prices on monitors. I got mine for either 79 or 89 bucks with free shipping. I haven't seen it that cheap anywhere else. It's very simple to use, it's easier than a cheaper watch I had before it.

I'd love to join also! I just finished a Christmas challenge, but I still have a lot of weight to lose. I need the motivation!

I'm in a plateau right now also, so I'm going to try it out and see if it helps. Let me know if I did this right. I'm lightly active, looking to lose 2 lbs a week. My BMR is 1,582 I weigh 185. I set my calorie goal to 2,050. I need to have a deficit of over 500 calories a day to see a difference. I'm a right?

Bump....I'm curious too!

I'm about where you are, I'm 5'5" and 187lbs and can wear a size 14. I've always considered myself to have "big bones".
-
I've lost about 40lbs and still going strong. My original goal weight was 160, even though it's not in our "healthy" range for our height I remember really liking myself at that weight. Once I get there I'll decide if I want to keep going. If I do, I would say 150 would be my goal. I'm big boned and have a big frame, so I…

Mine was 192lbs.

I agree with everyone else, the chest strap really isn't a big deal. I have a polar FT7, I got it from the heart rate monitors usa website for 86 bucks total, I love it!

I do the firm express workouts sometimes, I have 3 dvds that I rotate and work out to. I really like the firm ones! I don't know if there is a specific group for them on here, though. You could always search through the posts to see if you can find anything.

I'm from Texas too! I definitely understand the sugar thing! Sweet tea was the hardest thing to give up. I always go over on my sugar intake.... I hate splenda, I'll only use the pink stuff if I have to.

Me too! I'm seem to have hit a plateau. I'm trying to decide if I need to eat more or not eat back my exercise calories. I say just stick it out and see what happens. Whatever you do, don't give up!
