Hi Meg, Like you I was here a little over a year ago. I don't have a trip or anything but I do work with a severely obese woman and as bad as it sounds, I use her for my motivation because I don't want to end up like that. I try to look at it as one meal at at time instead of one day at a time. If i had fries at dinner like you did then i look at it and accept that for that MEAL i wasn't making the best choice. But i still have the rest of the day that i was "good". So instead of blowing a whole day of hard work i only blew one meal. not a…

Thank you all for your input. I generally have protein at each meal and one of my snacks usually has protein as well...I just wanted to make sure I wasn't sabbotaging myself before i really got started

According to MFP my goal is 45g of protien/day....although it went up to 61g today because of my workout....is it a problem if i go over that??? i tend to eat a lot of protein. I haven't gone over with anything else and i still have 700 cals left....just curious if it's bad.

I have the polar F4 and love it. I've had it for about a year. Plus if you are using equipment that has monitoring on it the F4 doesn't get "confused" if that makes sense:flowerforyou:

I think I will try another class. I didn't really know what to expect so now that I do I can go in prepared. I've always been a little intimidated by spinning. Now I know I don't have to be.

I just took my very first spin class this morning. OH MY GOODNESS....I wanted to die. I pushed my way through it but I thought my legs were going to fall off my body:tongue: I made it through it though. Don't know if I'll take another class but at least I've tried it. Yay me!!!:happy:
