1600 posts! Wow! Maybe they could make you a tracker letting you know how many of them are just trolling?

Thanks, I am getting a smart phone soon so I will check out these apps. Maybe that's my problem, I'm stuck to my laptop. :)

This is an awesome post. I am SO glad you shared this accomplishment!!! Thank you!!!

I'll join! I am currently in a 30DS December challenge, so I will just re-up for January and half of February!

I lost about 30 pounds slowly using MFP to count calories and log exercise. I gained about 15 back after a year and I have since lost 5 and am on track to get back down. I just stopped logging and then started eating and drinking too much, too regularly. At first, it made no change in my body weight so I said HOORAY and…

Air popped! I got my air popper at a local thrift store for 2.00 and it works great. Then I dress it with a little olive oil cooking spray and lots of spices (my faves are cumin, cayenne pepper and nutritional yeast). DELICIOUS.

They are a starchier bean compared to others, but if you are avoiding refined carbs completely... chick peas are really nutritious and delicious!

You look FAB. So proud to be your mfp friend, you are an inspiration to me!!!!
-
Great work!!! WOW, you are helping me to not snack right now. :)

Somebody probably already said this, but definitely get your measurements to gauge your progress when the scale isn't moving. I went through a period where I felt like I was doing great calorie-wise and working really hard and there was not a tenth of a point difference on the scale... I thought I was doing so badly and…

I'm not a veg anymore (I was one of the people who's bodies just can't take it), but I was for six years, and I am still really light on the meat most days. I just honestly don't like it that much. Unless my fiance is cooking it, then it's generally amazing. But I grew up in a house where (no offense, ma) but the food was…

I had the same problem! I think MFP is great when you are first starting out, but after a while you have to start really setting your own goals really carefully. If I stay under 1200... girl. I get *****y.

I eat bread every day and I have lost about 30 pounds since September of last year. I think it's important not to give up the things you love (and I LOVE me some bread) but just to enjoy them in moderation, or enjoy healthier versions of the things you love (instead of deep fat fried white potato french fries, see if you…

38 (almost 39)! :)

I might consider gardening to be like "cleaning"... which there is a setting for! I use it when I do a SERIOUS houseclean with moving the furniture and getting on my hands and knees to do the baseboards and all that.

I had a container garden and I LOVED it, but I will say they need LOTS of sunlight, plenty of water and a GOOD fertilizer. Since the plants aren't connected to the actual Earth, their only nutrition source is what you put in that soil. I tried to go organic/vegan on the fert, and I almost killed all the plants. There is…

If someone loves you, they stand by you no matter what... and vice versa of course. So, yeah. That boyfriend should run away, and fast, because she sucks.

FFEL and Federal Direct loans are making their money back like CRAZY with the interest rates they have been asking. I think it's fine to set up incentive programs that offer lower interest rates and/or forgive a portion if the payer maintains a consistent track record of repayment. I think there also needs to be a lot of…

I think you probably just ran into a group of people who were scared that you weren't validating their life choice because deep-down they have been doubting it themselves. People often seem aghast at my fiance's and my decision not to have children, but honestly neither of us want them. We don't hate kids, we just don't…

I have never unfriended anyone, but I got unfriended recently and I was TOTALLY ok with it! She was a little egregious with the TMI. I have to admit, I am not that social on this thing. I try to offer support but I am not very consistent about it. So if someone wanted to un-friend me, I wouldn't blame them or be mad. You…

You look amazing! Congratulations, your hard work paid off, you look wonderful. And I love the haircut! You look years younger and so happy!

I love them, too! SO good on hot days!!!!

HI! I'm 38! I have lost 29 pounds since last september, couldn't have done it without MFP!
-
Just bread. I love TOAST. And I like washing it down with a glass of sh&%ty red wine. No apologies. ;)

Co-workers, man! They are on the rampage today! What I want to say to you is PLEASE don't listen to her, she is running her mouth because she is probably insecure of how she looks/jealous of how you look... and NOW I share this nonsense. An older woman I work with every day comes in and says out of nowhere WOW, have you…

Oh, don't even WORRY about it if tom's in town! All those inches? You are doing GREAT!!!
-
Right?!? Which reminds me, I hate it when people of either sex hold the opposite one to an outdated double standard on MFP (or anywhere else, for that matter).

Depends on the ex. I have a lot of ex-es that I am friends with, and totally comfortable around, but that's because they were normal, non- to only-moderately dysfunctional people. The one that was a psycho I steer as clear as I can from even NOW, and it has been 8 years. It was just SO bad for SO long after the breakup...…
