So here is my poor man's method: I do long runs on Saturday mornings. The night before, I drive my running route with my car and leave out sealed water bottles every 3 or 4 miles. Then next morning when I run, I find my bottle on my route, break the seal (so I know they haven't been tampered with), and drink. I leave them…

That sounds amazing! I will have to try to recreate. I've never made panko breaded onion rings before though.

This was just meant to be fun- no I'm not auditioning for any TV shows. I just wanted some new recipes to try out that other people would consider as being the best dish that they have ever made, not just a long list of recipes that are low cal and just sort of okay.

I like Old Navy exercise shirts and pants. They're cute and the prices are great. I also like Fabletics but only for the first purchase. If it's your first time they'll give you an outfit for $25, free shipping. That's where I got my outfit in my profile (After) picture. http://www.fabletics.com/invite/20355480/

You eat once a day and when you do, it's beef broth? And you haven't had a bowel movement in two weeks? That is no good. You are hurting your body. Please go see your doctor and tell them what you are doing. They can advise you better than an internet forum.

Holy Moly! That is an AMAZING transformation. Well done!

Wow, I hope you never teach my child. It would break my heart to know that a teacher called my child a "little turd". Maybe you are in the wrong vocation.

I'm Vietnamese too! I LOVE Vietnamese food! Since I've been on my weightloss journey, I've had to find substitutions to make some dishes more figure friendly. Are your in-laws making Vietnamese food or are you all going out to a restaurant? If they are making the food, let me suggest that you go get yourself a bag of Kelp…

Still a work in progress. :)

I have read all of your comments to make sure I fully understand your situation and here are the three solutions I could think of: 1. Buy a treadmill (in none of your posts have you stated that this wasn't an option). 2. Find an indoor track. Are there any universities or colleges in your area? Since you live in a "small…

Two heaping servings of white rice (like probably about 2 cups). It's what I used to eat a lot of before I lost weight because I love it. I try not to let myself have it too much and today I didn't stop myself after one serving. Ugh.....

I can only speak from my own personal experience. I have lost 40+ lbs in 5 months from running and being more careful about what I eat. I sometimes do other exercises like Zumba, but running is my main source of energy burn.

You are AMAZING and you inspire me. I ran my first 5k in July, then my first half marathon in September. I have been toying with the idea of a full marathon but am a little intimidated by it. But you are right. No excuses. I'm gonna do it! Thank you for sharing your story!

Yam Noodles! I use them to replace rice noodles whenever I make Vietnamese Summer Rolls. Mmmmm.....

My husband won't eat meat off the bone, so I have to debone his chicken and even BBQ Ribs before he'll eat it. He also eats grilled cheese sandwiches with strawberry jam spread over the top of it. I've tried it and I actually like it. When I was in high school I was physically unable to eat food in front of another person…

Yes! I lost 40 lbs in 5 months. I am 5'4 and in May I weighed 204. By October I had lost 40 lbs (so over the course of 5 months) although now that I'm in the 160's my weightloss has slowed down quite a bit. Still going in the right direction though. Good luck! I also started out with running a 5k. I ran my first 5k on the…

I have had days where I have felt like that but the thing that has helped me the most are my weekly pictures. Every Monday I weigh in and I take a picture of myself in the mirror. Whenever I am doubting about there being a significant visual difference, I open up my phone and compare the first picture I took back in May…

ZICAM- works like a charm.

That is wonderful. What a great feeling!

I like Vietnamese food and something that has helped me is replacing rice noodles (400 cal/ serving) with JFC shiritaki yam noodles (ZERO calories). So I might make pho and replace the noodles or fresh spring rolls. I'm thinking about trying it with pad thai soon.

I usually run 4x a week. 30-45 minutes each time on week days and then a long run on Saturdays usually 6-10 miles, depending on how I'm feeling or how much time I have. I started this back in May and on an average lost 1-2 lbs per week. Lost 40 lbs in 5 months. I had been training for a 1/2 marathon and that is what helped…

After 2 kids and not taking very good care of myself. Highest non pregnancy weight: 206. I am 5'4. Now I run a lot and count my calories. This is me holding 40 lbs of potatoes, because that is how much weight I've lost. Glad to get it off my body but still have more work to do. :)

Congratulations! You look great. And I know what you mean, I was thrilled when I went from being "Obese" to "Overweight". I'm still 20 lbs away from "Normal", but I'll keep trying until I get there! Great job and keep it up! You SHOULD be proud.

My running buddy had found one online that we stuck to and it worked great for us. I don't know where it is, otherwise I'd send you the link but it was basically something like this: Monday: 3 miles Tuesday: cross train (swimming, biking, or whatever) Wednesday: 3 miles Thursday: cross train Friday: rest day Saturday: 4…

If she comes in again, yes- confront her, but also pull out your cell phone and take her picture, follow her out to the parking lot and take a picture of her vehicle and license plate. This way if anything happens later and she goes any further with her crazyness, you will have a way to identify her to the police. They can…

I lost 13 lbs in my first month and have continued to lose since then. My first week I dropped 6 lbs because I cut out the junk- sweets and fast food. I also started exercising. It may have been water weight or even just a good cleansing of the bowels. If you are strict with what you put into your body and exercise a lot,…

I do not eat back my exercise calories and have had success. Good luck to you!
