and your point of view is making delicious yet healthy recipes. What dish do you make to secure yourself a spot on the show? Pictures and actual recipes will get you bonus points.

I'm kind of thinking that if you're a good enough home chef to make it on either of these shows, you wouldn't need a recipe/photos from a weight loss forum.

Are you wanting to try out or just looking for yummy recipes?

my definition of "healthy" is going to be different than most people's on any food show.

This was just meant to be fun- no I'm not auditioning for any TV shows. I just wanted some new recipes to try out that other people would consider as being the best dish that they have ever made, not just a long list of recipes that are low cal and just sort of okay.

Ohhh! That makes more sense! :) Have you looked at skinnytaste.com? I get most of my favorite yummy (but healthy) recipes from her.

My idea of healthy is a roast beef sandwich with horseradish, aus jus, and a large panko breaded onion ring on a lightly toasted french baguette, served alongside a side house salad with balsamic vinaigrette.

    Protein, carbs, and vegetables. Bam.

That sounds amazing! I will have to try to recreate. I've never made panko breaded onion rings before though.

I want to! I had an onion ring with roast beef and horseradish at a wedding this past weekend, but it was awkward because you had to squeeze the ring to hold on to the roast beef. And then it fell apart after the first bite, haha. I think it would be much better in sandwich form, especially with a little bit of aus jus on top.

And I haven't either, but I want to try that too! I love panko bread crumbs, and as long as you can layer enough on the ring, it should be easy to fry up.
