Its the culture in the deep south. Everything has food involved. everywhere you go they try to feed you, and when people come to you, its common courtesy to do the same. I am in the same boat, very frustrating. I changed my goal to 1/2 lb a week which upped my calories and i started at the gym, whiched upped my work out calories. Its only been a few days but i have gone from 1300 cals a day to 2000 - 2200. no changes yet (either way). Would love to hear input on this.

i pack a couple of pair of shorts, and wear my t shirt i wore that day for a workout shirt. im usually alone in the gym atthe hotel, but its not a fashion show anyway. safe travels.

hey I am right there with you. started in 44's, now in a 36 and pushing 34's. i have lost 56 lbs but stalled out also. i have been exercising and staying with it, but not losing weight, losing inches instead. congrats on the victories and the ones to come.

Humans have eaten meat since there have been humans. I will never understand why people want to pressure someone to be a vegan / vegetarian when it flies in the face of human nature. If you want "humane" meat, try wild game, or venison. But i wont try to make you feel bad for eating it, or not eating it. And I wont judge…

you probably arent doing anything wrong. I have been strctly following mine for 9 months. some weeks you lose, some you dont. slow and steady wins. dont get discouraged just keep doing the right stuff. Results will come.

i eat small meals every 2-3 hours all day. it really helps. and water, drink water, i flavor it with either mio or crystal light to give me some taste. your body will adjust, just stick with it.

i pack lots of crunch type bars. They are usually only 120 - 200 calories a pack. I eat them every couple of hours instead of a meal (usually lunch and for snacks) a banana or fruit for breakfast and a sensible dinner (grilled chicken, or fish and veggies). i travel a lot and do ok like this. hope it helps.

29 lbs and 19 inches so far on medifast. I had to add more food to my program though, i wasnt getting enough calories with the 5& 1 program alone. I am exercising too many calories. but it still works, even adding some other stuff in the mix. Good luck to you>

Thanks for all the input, much appreciated! to answer a few of the questions: I weigh myself in the morning after the bathroom, i usually look at it everyday because my weight loss has been weird. Nothing for 2 weeks and then 6 lbs in 6 days. i dont freak out on fluctuations but have never gained 3 lbs back in the 6+…

a spoon or two of Pillsbury SUGAR FREE chocolate icing. its really good if you melt in the microwave and dip a low fat graham cracker in it. MMMMMMM

chicken breasts, boneless skinless 1 yellow onion 1 bell pepper 2 tsp olive oil throw them all in a big skillet and cook em down till the pepper and onions are soft and brown. add salt pepper, garlic powder, cayenne, etc when you first throw in the pan. easy and awesome.

i eat 6 times a day. mostly small meals or snacks but have at least 1 "lean and green" meal a day. chicken or fish , vaggies and salad, etc. my smaller meals may be energy bars or peanut butter on bread, etc. i dont get over hungry this way and after a couple of days it became normal.

oh yeah, I use 5 lb weights for most of it. but I use 15lbs or even 20lbs for some of them. I have a torn rotator cuff, so I may not be a good judge of what to use.
