  • generally you take your weight and divide that by two...that's how many ounces you're supposed to drink. i guess 8 was just a central number?
  • good job! i just did wii tennis and boxing. i burned over 100 calories in 30 minutes just by playing video games!
  • it also bumps the post up in the forums, because the topics are sorted by last post.

  • keep in mind that you DON'T want to maintain or lose weight while you are pregnant! talk to your doctor and do whatever he/she says, because you want to have the happiest, healthiest baby that you can! congrats! :D <3
  • Congratulations! You look great! How tall are you? Haha, I used to get pasty legs from softball. We had to wear sliders (kind of like biking shorts but with reinforcements to keep them from ripping on the gravel) under our shorts (both came 3/4 of the way down our thighs) and then knee high socks. Wear that for an…
  • I agree...stay away from the oriental places. I suggest that if you're really sick of Subway, give yourself a treat and order something not as healthy...but don't eat it all! Or order a small size if the option is available. I'm not saying take a free card and eat whatever you want...still watch what you're ordering. But…
  • yeah. i don't know why it made me so excited. also, this morning i pulled on a pair of boxer style pj shorts...they had an elastic waistband and they were too big! i had to change! xD

  • thank you for making my day! :D
  • As a general rule, if it's not something you normally do, or it's something you started doing to lose weight, it counts. For example: going for a run in the park, stripping the house down and cleaning from top to bottom, going for a hike while on vacation, even SWIMMING while on vacation.
  • I would change my settings to lightly active or even active. Don't count it as extra exercise if it's what you already do...extra exercise would be like running on a treadmill or in the park. What you're describing is just day-to-day activities, but can affect how active your lifestyle is. If that makes sense.
  • NSV means Non Scale Victory.
  • haha, i tried on my middle school grad dress from two years ago last summer...i did it up, let go, and it fell to the floor. :)
  • Oh my gosh! You're GORGEOUS! :D <3
  • Thank you ladies! :) By the way...I tried on that dress during the summer. I did it up and let go so I could find the straps and it fell to the floor...LOL. That was one of the best moments of my life. :)
  • LOL well right now I'm kind of caught between two boys (my ex and my current boyfriend)...I'll be getting backrubs from either one though. :D By the way, my profile picture is how I looked at about 134 ish.
  • Thanks :D I know my weight is healthy and I look fine, but I've still got a lot of fat I'd like to lose. I've been doing 20-40 minutes of cardio 3-5 times per week (during the summer it will increase) and 20 minutes of pilates when I can. I've gone from a DD cup to a D and a 34 band to like, 32. For clothes I started at…
  • Im 5'3". From what I can tell I've got a small bone structure. I may look good with clothes on, I don't really with clothes off. :/ Oh and I'm 17 years old :P
  • All of these presents are from my father. My parents seperated when I was 9 months old and he moved to the USA (I live in Canada). Haha I was 2 years old...my sister (about 11) got a portable CD player from my father. I got overalls. Even at 2 years old I understood that clothes were no fun! 5 years old...sister got a tv,…
  • I started at 132 and I'm down to 127 now...I've gone down 2 sizes since I started (at size 8) and I just got brand new size 6 jeans like 2 weeks ago. :/
  • You can always interval train. This is my usual cardio workout: 2 minutes: 2mph 2 minutes: 3mph 2 minutes: 5/6 mph (repeat 3mph and 5/6 mph until fatigued) 2 minutes: 3mph 2 minutes: 2mph Usually it lasts about 30 minutes
  • You need to put your scale on the flattest, hardest surface possible - no carpet! I usually put mine on the bathroom floor, and which is ceramic tile. As far as I know, I'm getting an accurate reading (tested it with 10lb weight), but apparently my scale is 2 lbs off from my dog's vet's scale (mind you my mom and sister…
  • my softball coaches recommended water for season games, but gatorade/powerade for tournaments and playoffs. as well, if they're not banned (they were always banned in my leagues >.<) try salted sunflower seeds.
  • Drink LOTS of water. It'll help keep away the munchies! When I was in the Carribean with my family, I always had a bottle of water in my bag/hand. Even though we were active all day I found it satisfied me just fine. I was going from 8am to 3pm without even thinking about lunch! And even then we'd get back and just go to…
  • Hahaha that's the thing though...she's that type of person to go home and be like "omg that girl is so rude!" for the next month. My boyfriend got banned from a grocery store for "stealing" a bottle of water (that he had actually brought from home, not the store) and a pack of batteries (that he was on his way to pay for)…
  • Normally I wouldn't be questioning it, but after reading the other question about this I got to thinking about the last time I refused food at a similar function...And I was like "OMG. I hope I wasn't rude!" I also wouldn't have asked if it weren't for the insanely dirty look she gave me. I was like "woah. I think that…
