  • You could always have a chat to a councellor about the anxiety and insomnia (check at the place where you study, they might have ones there to help students). Even looking up relaxation techniques to help sleep might help you in the future. When I was a teenager, I had issues with anxiety and insomnia, and also would stay…
  • Sounds like you need to have a chat to your mum about your goals and what you want. You could go through some of her recipes with her and discuss ways that they could be healthier (ie cook with lean ham instead of bacon... or have some ham cooked for you while everyone else has bacon...). You could also offer to cook for…
  • weight fluctuates a lot throughout a week. It can be water, salt can increase the water your body holds. During your time of the month, your body will hold onto more water then usual. It can be muscle. You should weigh yourself once a week to watch your weight loss. I personally weigh myself everyday, but I keep in mind…
  • Your body also requires water to convert fat into energy, thus you need the water to lose weight.
  • If you don't trust scales, there are other ways to track weight loss, and are actually better to use as they can track weight loss even when the scales aren't moving. You can measure your waist, hips, bust, thighs. If you make sure to measure in the same spot next time, then it is a good way of tracking your progress.
  • are you using the scale at home on carpet? I have found that my scales are always dodgy if placed on carpet. They have to be on a hard surface, but if placed in the bathroom, you also have to make sure the surface is level (it often isnt in the bathroom due to the drain in the floor with it all sloping slightly towards the…

  • You can lose weight with PCOS! :) Here is a good link to someone that has: http://www.facebook.com/notes/danielle-renee-reynolds-collins/how-do-i-get-my-motivation/10150398283092575 I have PCOS and when I was first diagnosed with it, I lost 30 kgs (a lot of hard work). Unfortunately I did the daft thing and put quite a bit…
  • :O I feel so sorry for those people that they cant just see that they are beautiful as they are. One of the starving tips was to have 3 cough lollies each day, which were as replacements for 3 meals a day... I cannot even imagine living like that.
  • also different scales will weigh differently. My old scales were a few kilos higher then my new ones. So keep that in mind when comparing to doctors ones. Also make sure the floor is level. Sometimes that can cause the scales to give different results each time you step on it.
