Hmm...you could use Morningstar Farms Bacon Strips, they don't have the perfect "crunchiness" like real bacon does..close but not quite. There are also a lot of bacon bits brands that don't use meat (just check out the labels)...

This 100%!! It's your anniversary! Have fun, workout like you normally would and give yourself a "cheat" meal...just maybe take it a little lighter the next day.

I eat a ton of veggies and I always always count them..think about it, if you consumed a banana and an avocado that almost 400 calories!! Of course, that's an extreme example, but you should count everything you put in your mouth!

That's what I was going to say, I'm sure whatever extra cals cold water burns is really miniscule in comparison to warm water :)

You said you did it before-how did you do it then? I would add a mile a week/mile every two weeks to gradually work your way up. What I do is I run 4 miles 2- 3 times a week and then on one weekend day i'll do anywhere from 7-7.5 miles..maybe try something like that and one day you push yourself a little harder? Good luck!

I like doing my own thing when I run, so if it's me running down a different path/trail, I don't want to have to have a conversation about it with the person next to me if that's okay. I use fat free ranch dressing, about a tablespoon or so-I think it tastes great! Pretty similar to mayo!

I disagree. With larger than life portions nowadays and a growing obesity epidemic, by posting nutritional information can potentially help someone who is unaware make better decisions. Don't be too hard on yourself!! We ALL have days/meals where we cheat!!! You have to be able to give yourself a cheat once in awhile or you'll go crazy. I do! I know if I don't, I'll get burnt out and stop all together. Try not to stress on it too much and keep truckin'! :)

Rodney Strong is a good brand of red wines, I like Mondavi reds as well! For some cheaper reds, I like Clos Du Bois and Yellow Tail reds are half decent! Hope that helps!

Correct, PROTEIN itself is not stored because it is broken down (to essentially not be labeled as a protein) and is stored as fat.
