On day 10 of my 24 dav Advocare challenge, and for 10 days in a row I have made a meal replacement shake for breakfast. I find them pretty good now. I add usually berries and ice when I blend, but so far I like them and keep me full till lunch. Never had the other brand of shakes.

So I am wanting to lose weight, and do the Advocare system. Being "locked", does this mean no posts will come on this to hear how everyone is doing?

No worries. Just walk and check out the hotels. Every hotel has a different theme. So do not just stay in your hotel. get out, day or night and walk around. You are off to a great start Claire! Day by day. Record everything you eat makes you more aware. I find letting people see what you eat helps too, so they can encourage or offer suggestions. Best of luck! Anyone- I love positive motivating people if you want to send a friend request!

Hey Becky...My version is slight different as I use tomatoes, a jalepenos, and not Rotel.. but I make mine with 3/4 cup Italian dressing and 1/4 cup Lime Juice. It makes it taste fresher. And then I add cilantro right before serving. Maybe tweek your recipe some to try one of these :)

Agree with Saltorian. Also...make goals. Set your self things.. when you lose ___ LBS, you get to get a new shirt. When you lose ____ you get to get a pedicure! YOU just have to want it. YOU just have to say I will log EVERYTHING I EAT EVERYDAY and try that for 2 weeks. Yes you will have to pass on that extra side of pasta, or pass on the ranch dressing cause you know it has to much fat in it and will throw your "total" over for the day. LOG LOG LOG. Good points and I am reading all of them. I am agreeing that maybe it is best for my daughter.. then "should or should not". There were a few people that went out of their way to be there, so I want to make sure I make them feel good at least for coming!

I usually weigh each day.. and use to record once a week to MFP. However, I have hit a point where I gained a couple pounds and now not losing.. but I have not weighed that into MFP. I saw no weight changes after so many weeks and got mad and went out to buy a new scale only to go home and find that scale gave me the same weight too! OOps.. my bad. lol Go get a new one anyway :)

GOOD FOR YOU!! I am on day 36 and have lost 5 lbs and just see some good results. I am losing inches, I am getting toned, and friends that I did not tell I was trying to lose weight, have noticed. Hey.. that makes me want to keep going and going! Keep digging :)
