I got married at 19. Had my first child at 23 and had twins at 25. I am now 32 and have 3 healthy, happy kids age 10 and soon to be 8. My kids were not planned and I dropped out of school and did not work. We were poor because my husband was still in school and his job did not pay very well, but we made it through the…

Yes, do tell what are reverse crunches? I do regular crunches all the time with my trainer, but I will ask him about reverse crunches for sure.

My daughter was 2 when my twins were born. Now she is 9 and the twins are 7. My skin scares me. I am fairly certain the only way it will go away is with surgery. It seems to sag more with more weight loss. I only had one c section, but I had another abdominal surgery where they cut the same place as the c section to remove…

That's great! Very inspirational, and a quick loss. :-)

Personal info: I am getting my PhD while working full time and taking care of my husband of 12.5 years and my 3 kids! It's tough but I LOVE it!

I had tried just about everything except diet pills when I decided I would try Alli. I was terrified of experiencing side effects, but I did not have any. I lost 11 pounds in the month I was using it. I had NO side effects, but followed the plan. There were no differences in my bowel control, no leaking, and no oily farts,…

I am not a beach body coach. I do not sell anything. I got some Shakeology from a friend who is a Beach Body coach, and am using it until it is gone. I have tried several protein and meal replacement shakes, Slim Fast, Curves, Some Walmart brand stuff, and Shaklee. Honestly I thought they were all NASTY! It is not the…

High Intensity Interval Training- I do this with my personal trainer and am going to start doing it at home too. I am in no way affiliated with this website. It just explains HIIT well. http://www.intervaltraining.net/hiit.html

I had to lose a little over 100 pounds and have lost almost 40 and need to lose around 70 more. We can do this! Feel free to friend me if you want to. :)

You can do this! Sometimes it takes a shock to us to get us in the right mind set for change. It is not easy but there are a lot of great people who can support you, give advice, and help you on your journey. I had over 100 pounds to lose and so far have lost almost 40. I joined MFP because I hit a long plateau and I…

You can find those under the strength training part of the exercise log. It doesn't tell you how many cals you burn for strength training when you enter them for your exercise as far as I can tell, but if you go to the exercise tab at the top, and then go to database, you can put in your weight, the activity, and how long…

We are doing deadlifts, squats, and weighted lunges, so maybe I should ask to up the weights instead of starting out low and working up. I can definitely see definition in my legs and starting to see little n my arms. My stamina has definitely improved and I can do more reps now than when I started. Just my face and belly…

The first 50 pounds were a breeze, it is this last 70 that is killing me. I am trying to eat good, healthy food, but I will admit I have had several days of eating bad food including fast food because of time issues. I opened my food diary. I have been working with a nutritionist who says on paper I look good, so we are…

Stress is a big part of things, since I am working full time, in grad school, dealing with the kids and husband and house, and general life issues. I am going to ask my Dr to check my cortisol levels and see what come up...I have been wanting to ask him to check them anyway.

I usually cook dinner and sometimes lunch but this semester has been a major pain, I have so much on my plate. I work full time, go to grad school, and have a family (3 kids). Just adding in exercise has been an inconvenience to my family and I feel guilty about it. Here is my typical weekday schedule. 5:30 am- get up,…

I made my food diary available. I still have 70-80 pounds to lose. I lost the first 40 with no exercise just dietary changes. I have added in exercise. Dr just said too much male hormone and not enough female hormone, he did not actually diagnose PCOS, he said he would have to do more tests to confirm, but my guess is it…

I had my twins at 36 weeks via emergency c section and was so huge. I gained almost 100 pounds in the pregnancy. The more I lose, the bigger the pooch and hanging skin gets. i fear it will only be fixed with surgery and plan to get it after I reach my goal and maintain for a year.
