  • Okay you little hottie...you've inspired me to get a bit more serious about losing my last few. Nan...so proud of you! Rock those new clothes!
  • Hi N, I have had erroneous readings of 190 and sometimes over 200. I found adjusting or re-doing the band around my sternum takes care of the problem. I have sent mine back to Polar once to repair a button on the side and they were quick to repair it and add newer parts. I have one of the older versions...not sure what…
  • It sounds like the scars you have go deeper than your skin. Your outlook it a matter of persepective, it's your choice on how you want to look at things. I don't think I can impart any words of wisdom that you have not already heard. You are a beautiful young girl with so much ahead of you. Please talk with someone who can…
  • I have not had soda, caffinated or otherwise since May. The withdraws took me almost 2-weeks, but I also quit sugar at that time too. Hang in there, just know it will pass. There is nothing in soda that is good for you and your body will thank you for kicking the habit. Good luck. BTW...apply peppermint oil behind your…
  • There is a lot the site offers. It's awesome...best part is the support of MFP friends. Adding you.

  • You look amazing! Congrats on your transformation and good luck on your continued journey of living a healthy lifestyle.
  • That I can eat a lot of food when it is clean and healthy.
  • Thanks for passing on your knowledge about these topics. It reminds me that I need to eat more calories because I am trying to build muscle.
  • That's a great NSV! It is so hard when you're not in your element to stay balanced...but you did it! Nice job...stick with it and you're going to see the results you desire!
  • Don't beat yourself over a night of social eating...we all do it. It's what you do now that counts. I went on vacy not too long ago and ate high calories including drinks, and I gained over 2 pounds...not a shocker. But when I came back...I went straight back to eating healthy carbs and protiens and lost the 2 pounds and…
  • Vodka and Tonic...extra lime is my fave. Hope you have fun. Oh..and wait...have a drink for me!
  • Take high potency vitamins every day...if you can, take ones that are specific for women. Also, try drinking a protien shake (whey)an hour before working out and another protien shake after working out within 45 mins. Add an amino recovery powder to the shake. Maybe take some extra Bs. Get plenty of sleep and insert rest…
  • You're hard work has paid off! I am so happy for your milestone. Have a great day!
  • I am really enjoying Zumba at the moments. I have a energetic instructor that pushes the class to dig deep!
  • I like the rubber band idea. Thanks for sharing.
  • Wow! That sounds like fun...trying to figure out where I can do that around my house? Maybe the pool for now. Anyway...thinking "rowing" might be similar enough.
  • To Billy Connolly...Okay...you made me laugh...I needed that today! I like it..."going to bed with a bicycle." Too funny. As far as what shape/size is best. I understand wanting to know...but really...being skinny, curvy, muscular, or toned is attractive on a person if it is what they want to be...not because it is…
  • Congratulations on your NSVs and good luck on your upcoming race. You will do great!
  • I also have some "before" pictures and have been apprehensive about letting anybody see them. So I know what you mean. I think you should post them to celebrate your hard work. And...I love seeing before/after pictures (web, email, magaznines, and books)..I find them to give hope to those working towards their fitness…
  • Love it! It put a smile on my face!
  • Mean people suck for sure. Too bad there is no diet for mean people to make them nice. Luckily, you will reach your goal and be the weight you want to be...and the mean lady will still be... "just mean". Good luck and stay the path!
  • I think her lack of response is more about her than you. Don't get discouraged with her silence, she probably doesn't realize she is doing it. I get the same glazed look with others who say they want to get fit, it is usually the ones that have not made an honest committment. Stay the path...and we are here to support you…
  • I am no expert, but I think you are okay to eat calories back...try to keep it clean and low sodium tho. As far as the scale not moving, try changing up your work out by incorporating weight training everyother day and cardio the next. Really push yourself on the weight training...your muscles should feel like a wet noodle…
  • Welcome and good luck!

  • Same here. I actually started a fitness plan a week ago, but joined myfitnesspal today. I sit at a desk alot as well and I get up and walk the stairs everytime I think of eating junk food or when I feel I need a break from my work. Hopefully this helps.
