Definitely. When I was in college we did our ROTC workouts early before class. Granted, I went to class exhausted many of those days but it was nice to know that the workout was finished for the day. Other benefits to working out first thing in the morning is you are still in a fasting state. That means whatever calories…

Anything and everything. Eating chocolate is preferable to letting your body go into "hibernation mode" or "starvation mode" where your body starts retaining fat. Just give it anything to metabolize so it is reassured that a famine is not coming. Of course, the healthier the better. Night shift is also unnatural for…

Depending on how long ago you moved out, you will have to clear the pathogens from the 2nd hand smoke from your system. You do this by coughing and hacking up a lung-it is the body's defensive mechanism for when back things are in the lungs. When this happens you can have a runny nose and drainage. Another item I focus on is when you say "high intensity." For lack of a…

Elevation definitely affects your performance-I am not sure how drastic 600 feet would be. I can say being transferred to Ft. Bliss, TX from Ohio there is a 4-7,000 ft. elevation increase. As a result my 2-mile run time is 1-2 minutes slower and I feel like I am gonna DIE when I push myself, lol. Because of the elevation…
