I have heard that too, about less weight - more reps. Also, it's important to tone because muscle mass burns fat...so toning any part of your body will help your body burn fat from other parts (like your thighs as you said were a problem area)

I was at about mile 19 last night when I got a flat :grumble: Luckily someone else out riding that late came past and had a patch kit and got me all patched up. Couldnt get enough air (only had a hand pump) to do any more serious riding so i hadta head home.

So very true, it's happened to me. I didnt end up gaining any back but I constantly felt weak and tired.

I can usually nip that fix with a glass of water. If not I'll have a rice cake or a few soy crisps.

Oh I can't wait. Whenever the seasons are airing my friend has a weekly BBQ at his apt and we all get together and watch it on his ginormous falt screen.
