What an amazing job he's done... He's a proof that where there is a will, there is a way!

You don't have to be happy with your body, but at least stop hating yourself! Also... Unless you already have a low body fat %, chances are you CAN change your body shape to some degree by losing weight. I'm an apple by body structure; my ribcage is a normal size, but I have no hips whatsoever. I looked seriously…

Sometimes I find myself judging their eating habits (or what I think is their eating habits... they might eat healthy most of the time, who knows). That is NOT the same thing as judging them as a person, though. Eating habits have little to nothing to do with how loyal, honest, responsible, or compassionate they are.

I doubt a HRM will give you an accurate burn for activities like this. Your excitement is a big part of the reason why your HR goes up during sex... That's different from HR going up during a boring run.

29 here, turning 30 in a few weeks. I'm in the best shape of my life, and I know it's about to get better (MUCH better) from here. Hell, I currently weigh 5 pounds less than I did in 8th grade, and my waist is a few inches smaller than it was in 8th grade. Me too! An inactive, McDonalds-guzzling blob.

I love Greek yogurt because it requires no preparation. If I'm willing to cook, chicken breast and lean fish are great. Lean fish like mahi mahi/ dolphinfish are lumps of pure protein.

The vast majority of sit-down restaurant burgers are death traps. Better to just get a petite sirloin steak... If you really want a burger, most fast food places have better options! :noway:

Weigh your salmon before you cook it! Some salmons shrink a LOT, while others barely do.

If PMS mood swings cause you to run around screaming in rage, and/ or throw heavy objects around, I'm sure that burns a lot!

My bro's diet consists primarily of lower calorie fast food. I don't think he's ever gone a day without eating fast food in the past few months.... He's lost weight successfully and is healthy and strong. I'm sure he'd be even healthier, though, if he cleaned up his diet a bit.

What are you eating? Eating 1500-1800 calories in ice cream is very unhealthy compared to eating the same amount of calories in whole foods of balanced macros. You say you're always in pain, which is concerning. I hope this isn't chest pain we're talking about -- if it is, see a doctor! Instead of running, try exercise…

You can certainly continue to lose fat while on your period. However, some women retain enough water to offset the fat loss in pounds, so the fat loss may or may not show up on the scale.

On the positive side? The size 2 jeans I fit into today. That particular brand probably runs a little big, but still! If anyone had told me last year "by this time next year, you're going to fit in size 2 pants," I would NOT have believed it. On the negative side... the flab on my belly that's screaming "hurry up and get…

What kinds of fruits and veggies have you tried before you decided you didn't like them? There are so many. I'm a picky eater and there are many things I won't touch (cucumber, for one!), but even I have favorite fruits and veggies. Walk into the grocery store, and I'm sure you'll find some fruits that you've never eaten…

Perfect Diet Tracker is not free, but not expensive either. You can track food calories as well as exercise.

Greek yogurt with this very awesome nut granola!

I drank one whole bottle recently. Then I proceeded to do HIIT for 55 minutes, which is insane, especially for me. I had to cut it short because of gym closing, but believe me... after the 3 minute drive home, I was ready to do some MORE. On the other hand, coffee doesn't seem to do anything for me. The intense result…

Eating breakfast actually makes me MUCH hungrier by lunchtime. I still eat breakfast because I like to, but I think the article needs more objective research.

                Aww, that is awesome.

That I am! Almost every one of them.

Female :) I'm considering that too, so I started taking multivitamin.

I'm already eating 1g per body weight in pounds, so I'm not sure if I should eat any more protein! Maybe I should try varying the source of protein though... some red meat and fish here and there instead of Greek Yogurt and chicken breast every day. But it could very well be blood sugar issues as you said. Which could…

"All natural" doesn't necessarily mean 100% safe. Poisonous mushrooms found in the woods are 100% natural and organic too, when you think about it! This particular product might be safe, and it may or may not work, but the label "all natural/ organic" isn't an automatic safe guarantee. So beware...

This is kind of TMI, but are you regular with your #2? I hadn't been regular for a while, then after going three times within 24 hours, my stomach was visibly flatter. :blushing:

                Indeed. GREAT WORK EVERYONE! :drinker:

A few years ago, my dad was running 3-4 times a week, 3-5 miles per session. He wasn't an ex-smoker, he was smoking a pack a day. (He STILL is a smoker!) Definitely possible!

Thanks! I will do that :)

Congrats! That is a big milestone :flowerforyou:

Well, it's good to know there's hope at least. :) I'll do both, just not simultaneously.

Not 100% sure what it's called, but it's between the collar bones and the breasts. I think it's part of the ribcage.
