I am an MFP'er who switched to WW when I couldn't break through a plateau. The bottom line is you're still counting, you're just doing it with a different kind of system, and there are pros and cons to both counting calories on MFP and counting points on WW. I just wrote a full critique on my blog:…

I am an MFP'er who switched to weight watchers when I couldn't break through a plateau. I just wrote a full critique of both calorie counting, and points plus on my blog. I'd love to hear thoughts: http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com/2013/08/does-weight-watchers-really-work.html

I either do fresh strawberries or blueberries with cinnamon and a tiny bit of honey.

I've heard that MFP puts you a bit lower than you should be, but I think this is an ongoing debate. I know, from my own experience, that 1200 is WAAAAY too low for me. What if you tried to do a number between the two and see how that works for a while? 1500? Good luck! http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com/

I'd do low calorie or healthy. I'm planning on working out before dinner, so I do have a bit of wiggle room
-
I've bought them in the past for an on-the-go breakfast, but I'd never do the full diet.

You guys are absolutely amazing. Congratulations to everyone

A protein shake is not the magic pill, so if you're gaining, maybe take a look at what else you're eating throughout the day, and also your sodium intake, which can make you bloated. www.collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com

Congratulations!!! You look amazing! www.collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com

Try measuring out a portion, instead of just snacking from the box. If you feel as if you still can't handle it, try cutting it out for a few weeks until you break your "addiction" of it. You shouldn't feel as if you HAVE to cut it our of your diet, though. You're allowed to eat unhealthier options, but you must have them…

My office is on the 6th floor of the building. Every hour, my coworker and I walk down 6 flights of stairs and then back up. It takes up about 2-3 minutes.... but if we do it 7 times during the day, it's a good 20 minutes of stair climbing.

Spaghetti squash with seared tofu! Delicious and nutritious

I've always hated raisins, so I put a few dried cranberries on -- "Ladybugs on a log" dried cranberries are obviously not the healthiest, so use them sparingly! http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com

Eat more. In order to lose weight, you need to allow your body to operate at peak performance, so it can streamline itself. This means feeding it the right amount of the correct foods -- plenty of fruits and veggies, lean proteins and whole grains. Good luck! http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com

Congrats!! That's awesome! http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com

love the first reply, but in all seriousness, I think it's a mental battle at that point. You're so close, and you start to think, it's just ten pounds, I look good already, why are these last ten SO necessary. Just keep at it, you'll get there eventually. Good luck! http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com

The bloating could also be from the increased amounts of fruits and veggies you're eating. Just throwing it out there

Pretty much -- at least during the week. My weekday lunches are: greek yogurt, cottage cheese, or plain oatmeal My weekday midmorning snack is: 6 ritz low sodium crackers with a light laughing cow cheese wedge. It gets me started on the right foot and I look forward to it every day

Love. Esp after the idiot before. OP, I'm a fan

It's probably sodium and water weight. A pound is 3500 calories. I'd HIGHLY doubt whether you ate 3500 calories in dinner, let alone what it would take to gain three pounds. http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com

There's absolutely a difference! Great job!! http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.bogspot.com

It seems like the things you have been doing have really been working for you, no? I'd recommend keeping with it -- maybe switching up your workouts, but you really seem to have this down. Congratulations, lady!

Meanwhile, my scale needs new batteries and I've been thrown for a loop the last few days. Perhaps I am too dependent on it! http://collegecookingandironchefamerica.blogspot.com
