It's not a terribly bad idea, but I never understood the need to spend so much money on a scale, when it only takes a few seconds to enter your new weight into these applications.

Have you been taking measurements? Sometimes the weight on the scale may not go down, but your body could be change. My boyfriend and I both hit plateaus for a few weeks, and even noticed some small weight gains, but we constantly were looking at each other and seeing changes in the face, the hips, and the belly.

Always be on the lookout for circulars advertising sales! I follow a low carb diet, so eating meat is a core part of my meals. If something's on sale, I get as much as I can comfortably afford and freeze what I don't need at that moment.
