I'm excited for this weeks challenge! I will actually be motivated to hop on my elliptical now!
-
I actually got a loss this week of 2 pounds! I'm excited bc the scale didn't move at all last week, went up the beginning of the week and then dropped today!
-
CW: 225.6 so excited that the scale went down this week!

You can do it!! You should absolutely continue. Just remember, one day at a time. If you make a mistake, its ok! And remember to measure and record inches. I gained a pound this week but lost 2 inches!

Monday- My go to foods that I have added since starting my journey are frozen berries (instead of ice cream!), oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, granola bars and, unfortunately, 5 hour energy. Not the greatest thing, I am trying to stop using them and only have them occasionally now, I just rarely have the time to actually make…

Well so far this week I have gained a pound :(, but I lost 2 inches around my waist!! Hoping that pound is just water retention and will go away with a few good workouts!! Hope everyone is having a good day and getting your exercise in!!

I made my husband hide the scale on me this week :) I was getting to where I was weighing myself every time I went in the bathroom for anything. He isn't allowed to give it back to my until Friday when I weigh in, then I'll probably have to make him hide it again! It is driving me crazy not having it but it is helping me…

No loss this week, but no gain either. I was WAY under 1200 a couple of days, TOM was visiting, hubby started 12-16 hour days (<3 the NAVY) and it was just all in all a stressful week. So I am taking the weekend off to just enjoy my family and friends then next week I am upping my calories, making sure I net at least 1200…

My September goal is to get below 220, which is about 8 pounds. Fingers crossed!! Especially since I didn't have a loss this week. :(

Thursday: I haven't given up any food. I still eat what I want, but pay attention to how much I am eating. If I want a treat, I either work out more, or eat lower calorie foods during the day. Whenever I have tried completely giving up something, I always find myself cheating. I am hoping doing it this way keeps me on…

CW: 227.8 :( No change. At least I didn't gain anything though. I think I didn't eat enough this week, I had a few days that I ended up being WAY under 1200 after working out and just wasn't hungry. I've upped my calories and water intake so hopefully I'll have better results next week!

Changing my mind set has been the hardest thing for me. I know that it is what is going to be the most effective in the long run!

I would say you are causing more damage. When I was young I was told my achilles tendons didn't grow right and I shouldn't do a lot of running or wear heels, ever! I ignored them and am paying for it now! Luckily mine can be mitigated with stretching and physical therapy. I also ignored (and generally continue to ignore)…

Pam Thanks for posting the spreadsheet, I haven't really been keeping track of my weekly progress just my overall and it was really helpful to see the whole journey. I have been having a frustrating, stressful week and this really helped to motivate me! You ROCK!

Monday: I had started losing weight (after gaining WAY more than I wanted to) after I had my daughter, went on birth control and started gaining the weight back. I would have been okay with not losing a lot or it being really slow, but I refused, REFUSED to go back up to 260. I had gotten down to 235 and was back up to 242…

Third place this week :( Let's get first this week ladies! Make sure you do your best to count your calories, get your cardio in and drink your water! I would also like to challenge everyone to get at least 4 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Good luck!
-
You can do whatever you put your mind to! You just have to make the decision that you are WORTH IT and you DESERVE it! Then you will find yourself staying more motivated and making more time for exercise. Taking a few minutes to plan meals will help you stick to your goals. Don't get discouraged when you slip up and don't…

Great job!!

Since starting my weight loss journey I have rediscovered my love for fresh fruits and vegetables. I could eat them all the time! I have just been too lazy in the past to grab them from the bottom of the refrigerator and then by the time I would remember they were there they would be bad :( I don't have a favorite…

CW: 227.8 Good bye 230's!! Great job this week everyone!!

CW: 227.8 I am finally out of the 230's!!!! N: 13.25 B: 46 W: 40 A: 14.5 T: 24.5 I have had a great week this week and am even making progress getting my son to eat vegetables! (No small feat with him!) I have been challenging my body to slowly do more and more exercise since the dr.'s released me to do whatever I can…

I'm not sure where you are but the general law about signing a spouses check, especially while married, is that its allowable. Don't stress about it. It won't get you jail time, sounds like he is being an *kitten*. PLEASE eat more than 500 calories a day!! You are going to run yourself into the ground or end up in the…

Excited about this challenge!

Wednesday QOTD What is your goal weight and how did you decide on that number? My goal weight is 140. This will put my in the healthy range for my height. All through high school I never dropped below 160. I am currently 230 and cannot wait to see what I look like when I finally reach my goal! My goal weight for this week…

Tuesday's QOTD: Weight loss and healthier lifestyles affect more than just the number on the scale. What has been your most noticeable change (besides weight loss) since beginning this journey? (You newbies out there are probably already noting changes too!) The biggest change I've noticed is my relationship with food. I…

It looks like the total amount lost didn't calculate on some of them. Mine didn't add up either. Good job on the loss!

Finished my cardio, stayed under my calories, drank 8 glasses so far and now off to do some push ups and crunches! I am just getting started adding exercise back in. I usually over-do and burn myself out because I get frustrated about not being able to do what I used to, so slow and steady for me! This challenge is really…

Monday QOTD: What is your biggest reason for losing weight? My biggest reason for losing weight is so that I will be around to see my children grow up. My father died when I was 10 of a heart attack that could have been avoided if he had eaten better, exercised etc. I am in the worst shape of my life. I was never skinny in…
