Weighed in today at 199.6! I weighed myself twice because I did not believe it!

Its hard to believe that in a year I have lost 37lbs!! Its amazing! November will be my one year anniversary for the joining the gym. I wil be doing a reassessment to see how far I have come. One of the sales managers last night at the gym was saying where do you think you will be in 6 months. 6 months ---I have 23lbs to loose until I hit Onederland. That is my goal! WOO HOO!! Just had to share my happy moment!0

Yesterday I ate 2035 calories and exercised 322 calories, so my net was 1713. According to all of the "how many calories should I eat to lose weight" calculators I've tried (like this one: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm), I'm supposed to try to eat 1700 - 1800 calories per day, but I always find that hard to do. Yesterday I actually did it and the foods I ate were healthy and yummy, but it felt like A LOT of food to me. Guess what? I got on the scale this morning and it said I'd lost another pound! What?!
Even though I've seen it happen to me more than once, I still can't seem to wrap my brain around the fact that eating more can mean losing more. It just seems wacky! I'll take it though.0 -
Sorry I am behind this week guys. . My weight as of Sunday was 220.1. . . . .I am hoping to improve those stats this week. . Have made some major dietary changes and I am taking up running again. . . .

I am sort of discouraged right now. I have never lost weight so slowly. Friday is my grocery shopping day. I think that I may go back on South Beach to boost things along. I am so tired of losing .2 here or .4 there. It is very discouraging!! I know my problem is soda and sodium. It is SO hard to cut back on those. I tell myself I can work them in, but I am going over on my sodium intake by like 1000+ a day!0 -

Jessie you're going in the right direction And you KNOW what areas you're struggling in which is half the battle! Staying away from processed foods will nip both of those right in the bud too :+)0

I am really starting to wonder what the deal is with my pattern. I lose 2-3 lbs at a time, then a couple days later go back up a pound & plateau for like 2 weeks, then have another loss. It is incredibly frustrating. I'm contemplating trying to lower my carbs after watching part of "FatHead" last night. Any thoughts?0

Still 220.2 so no loss this week.
I have going with a friend/co-worker to a gym since she can bring a guest free, But she is the least committed person I have met. She can come up with an excuse not to go. Like the other day her roommate texted her at work and told her they power was out at home cause they are working on the lines so she says I can't go to the gym cause our electricity is off. I'm like so what are you going to do? Go home and sit in a hot house?0 -

I had so much fast food yesterday & tonight for dinner that my stomach is not a happy camper right now. 10 months of eating right does definately changes your metabolism! I highly doubt that I lose any weight by Tuesday...Shameful. Thats All I have to say :sick:0

It's part of life, though. You do so well all the other times, though! It's ok every now and then, I am sure, to have a day or so!! Not shameful at all. AT lest it wasn't a week or two before you straightened up!0 -

I see...a former team captain was using Google Spreadsheets to log our weights. Wasn't sure if that was what you were using or not. I had never heard of it until joining the challenges so I wouldn't be any help!0
