Ok here is the spreadsheet so far! Let me know if you are able to access it. I made it only accesible to those who have the link.

This one at a time **** is FRUSTRATING! I'm hitting it hard for a while, no booze, forced workouts whether I want to or not, super strict diet. Let's see if I can keep it up for 30 days and it will make a difference.

I'm getting to the point of why bother, and I don't like that.

Look at it this way...at least you are not gaining. Weight loss is a slow process. You don't want to rush the lbs coming off as it could pose problems for your health. Plus if you loose weight too quickly you could be left with flabby skin

Pam you ROCK, thanks so much!!
And I totally agree about slow weight loss being frustrating but DEFINITELY worth it in the long run! It's so much better to lose slowly and steadily which is exactly what you're doing! Don't get discouraged! There is a major major point to everything you're doing! And if you stop, you WILL gain the weight back and probably then some (I have reminded myself of that a couple times too) You are doing great :+)

    Pam

Thanks for posting the spreadsheet, I haven't really been keeping track of my weekly progress just my overall and it was really helpful to see the whole journey. I have been having a frustrating, stressful week and this really helped to motivate me! You ROCK!

    Thanks for the link Pam!
So....my goal was to hit 215 this month. On Monday I weighed in at 215 on the nose! Hubby said he'd buy me work out clothes but I think I'm gonna need more cold weather clothes with Fall approaching. He brings me out a box when I get home. He surprised me with a really cute girly Packer jersey! That was part of my reward! The most impressive part of this is he shopped at Kohls.com for me! (Very anti-girly shopping)
    YAY ME!!

Awe thats so sweet! When I met my bf ( common law hubby) 6 years ago I was 15lbs heavier. It doesn't really know what to think yet. Except that my "*kitten*" is shrinking. LOL! I would like to be 220 by September 6th, when the kids go back to school. I will be at the 40lb mark! I have 1.4lbs to go!

  • Since Pam asked for us to post some mini goals, here's mine.

I'm pushing for a total loss of 12 lbs this month. I know...some people will say it's unhealthy. But...I think so long as I'm eating well, drinking my water and working my *kitten* off...I can shoot for a million if I want to.

So, my mini goal for the month is 12, but with this tribal challenge AND my attempt at tackling the couch to 5k deal...I think it's easily doable.

Let's see...a weight loss goal for September....well, I'd like to lose like 10 pounds, but since I've started losing weight I've never managed to lose more than 6 a month no matter what I do, so I should probably make my goal smaller than 10. I'll go with a weight loss goal of 7 pounds this month -- let's see if I can smash that 6 pound ceiling!

I would like to loose 10lbs this month too! Then I would be 10lbs away from Onederland!! I haven't seen that a number on the scale starting with a 1 in 11 years!! When I go for my physical next Spring the dr will be shocked!

I have been losing about 5 a month so I think I'll stick with that. I'm in a better zone now than I was at the beginning of August so hopefully it'll be more. I'm really feeling a 208 for some reason though...:)

223.4 today! That's 2.2 down since last Friday. I hope I keep losing at this rate.

My goal is to make it to 215 by the end of September!
