    I'm at 219.8 this morning. That's 1.6 lbs down from last week. I got stuck for most of the week and ate fewer calories for a few days so I'm moving my calorie goal from 1700 down to 1500. Hope it works!

    alienblonde1 lost 0.8 pounds since her last weigh-in! She's lost 22.8 pounds so far.

    OMG it feels so good seeing the scale go down after sticking almost all summer. Almost another lb down.,

    I just got back from doing Zumba with my 11.5 year old and Kristin...My knee is hurting so bad! Kristin made a valid point when she pointed out it could be from my motion control shoes! I wouldn't have thought that, but it makes sense. All the twisting with your knees...urg. My daughter seemed to love the class which is good because she and I had a major argument before we left about her not wanting to be the only middle schooler in there. It is so hard to get it thru her head that it is ok!!

    I bought some Zumba/dance shoes. It has made Zumba so much easier on my knees.

    I saw someone in class wearing those!! I will check into them. I have ankle issues so I would like to try them on before ordering them. Will see if they sell them around here :)

    Guys!! We have 3 months until Christmas Day!!! I saw someone post this on the message boards and it just sort of put it in reality for me. I have a LONG way to go since I haven't done so well...all you ladies are doing so much better!!

    Ooh I'm so excited!!! I hope I can do it! I watched football with some friends last night and had way too much tailgating food :/ Hope it doesn't set me back.

I just was released from the hospital (I have epilepsy) and was put on a strict eating plan as well as a consistent exercise schedule, which I should have been on anyway!!!! :-( I'm trying to stay active with this since I have it wherever I go, and I want to be able to participate more in challenges. I also eat at work and they order out a lot? Do you guys get frozen meals or just make your own at home?

    Oh, girl, I am so sorry!! I will say a prayer for you tonight!! I hope you are feeling better.

    I don't work outside of my home...but I have something even worse. My husband works at home and seems to think we need to eat out A LOT at lunch. Fortunately, we run out of money soon after payday...but I wish we could just stop!!

    Soooo....last week I was all excited (and shocked) that I lost 1/2 pound after eating so horribly on vacation...well, it caught up to me. This week I'm up two pounds, and it's not even TOM. I've been under calories all week and exercised every day -- sometimes twice a day -- so the only thing I can think is that the crappy eating from last week just caught up to the scale this week. I guess I didn't dodge a bullet after all.

    Eabutterfly, I hope you are feeling better! I always bring my lunch...better for the diet and my budget. :smile: I like the frozen meals or soups, BUT I only buy the organic stuff and watch out for the sodium content. If I buy canned soups I always get the low sodium kind, because regular canned soups are salt bombs (which isn't good if you want to see the scale move). A lot of frozen dinners have tons of salt too, so you have to make sure to look at that. I do like to cook dinners that will give me leftovers too; that also saves some money and I know exactly what I'm getting.

It's still open for anyone who wants to get involved! I'm hoping that will help me get moving with weight loss a little more! I know slow and steady is good, but it's still SLOW!     My goup's name is the Flying Machines. I thought that was the name of the game, tho...I dunno. Looking forward to it! Though, I normally don't work out on the weekend!! I may have to make an exception for the sake of the game :)

    Sorry I haven't been here for several days...had a lot going on! One of my best friends that I hadn't seen in a while came for my birthday this weekend and left tonight. I read everything to catch up and y'all are rockin' it out!!!

    I got a Polar F7 heart rate monitor and it is SO cool to actually see how many calories I'm burning and when I'm in the fat burning zone! I'm pretty stoked to have it!

    EAButterfly..watch you don't go over 2500 mg of sodium and make sure you are over 24g of fibre. That will help with your weight loss big time! I am sorry you are having such a hard time with your health right now. We are here for you.

    Sodium is very hard for me to watch. I didn't realize I had such a issue with it until I started logging here.
