I have a fitbit One and LOVE it! I just clip it to my pocket/waistband and forget about it. :)

Hi there! I have had PCOS since I was a teenager and have recently started to cut out the majority of sugars and all artificial sweeteners and grains out of my diet. I am eating high protein and low carb but not really watching my calories and I have lost ALL of the bloating feelings I used to get and have lost weight to…

You look gorgeous!! Way to stick with it! I love your dress btw. :)

I love to do this with dandelion, peppermint, and red raspberry leaves! It's also a great "women's tonic" and full of vitamins and minerals! :)

FTW!!!! ;)

MapMyFitness is my favourite free app for tracking my routes/estimating calories burned/etc. I also like the 5K Runner app for the C25K program!

This was my favourite part of my trip to Maui! The way the bamboo clacked and rattled together was kind of creepy too. Such a spectacular place!

If you have a smart phone there is an app called mapmyfitness and its great for measuring your speed, elevation changes (hills), and gives you estimated calories burned. I now have a HRM and the numbers are really close! Best part is this is a free app! :)

Join the "Ripped in 30 - July 2012" group on here! There are a bunch of us doing it and we are looking for more "rippers"!

You are beautiful!!! You deserve to be happy you have obviously worked so hard to get here! What an inspiring woman you are! Congrats and best wishes for those last couple lbs! :)

I just did day 1 this morning! I'd love to join some sort of group to keep motivated!

I COMPLETELY understand how you feel! I used to dance and play rugby all the time and never thought I was "overweight" (and I was maybe holding onto an extra 3-5lbs then) and when I "calculated" my BMI it always told me I was close to obese! I went and got my Dr. to do the more accurate test with the skin calpers and it…

Unfortunately I know exactly how you feel. I have always had extremely muscular/defined legs and calves in particular. My nickname through dance and rugby (for approx 10+ yrs) was "Man Legs". I've finally come to a point where I am accepting that no amount of yoga/pilates/running/swimming (I have done and do all these…

Yup! I have been stuck around 165-170 for the past 6 months. :( I have started more strength training recently and upping my protein and fibre intake as well. Hopefully this will push me past this. I can totally relate to how crummy it feels! Good luck!

I have always had super muscular legs without really trying. Thanks to dance and rugby for several years though I have been unable to wear ladies ski boots or any boot that comes past my mid calf. :( I'm 5'4" and my calves are 15.75 and 16. Oh well all it takes is to put on a sweatshirts and short shorts and I look more…

I was in Irish dance for 17 years competitively and it was amazing for my legs! Any sort of ballet/dance i think would probably work and it works lots of other muscles in your body as well. There are lots of dance workout videos online and in stores if you don't want/can't make it to a class.

I am a huge rice pudding fan and have given up rice, bread (wheat), and sugar (added/white) for lent. I have been adding quinoa to my greek yogurt for a yummy (super healthy and filling too!) "dessert".
-
I gave it up too and miss it! I am feeling 100% less bloated and crappy all day though... I have been making stews and chills on the weekend with beans and bison or chicken and freeze them so I can have an easy lunch everyday. Good luck!
-
I have the same sweet tooth that you do! I have given up all desserts and baked goods for lent and this past week was really tough! 8 days into it though and my cravings are almost gone! I have found that if I need something sweet (I usually have one serving of ice cream every night if its within my calories) I mix equal…

My old manager was on Medifast and lost about 20lbs in 2 months but as soon as she went off it she gained 35lbs and wasn't eating unreasonably. I was right where you are in May and I have taken this long to lose 30lbs. Let me tell you it's totally worth taking your time and doing it right the first time. It is a lot…

145 is my ultimate goal weight and was how much I was when I was playing rugby and in competitive dance all the time. I would be pretty happy with 150 until then though. :)

Thank you all so so so so much!!!!!! <3

Yes I'm in!!!! I'll be doing the 30 day shred and hiking/walking as much as possible as well. Can you create a group so it's easier to follow this group?
-
YES! I went up 2.4 lbs the first week and then dropped that and 3 additional pounds by day 9. By day 30 I was down 11 lbs. Just push through it. Also keep track of your measurements because they keep dropping no matter what the scale says. I would recommend not weighing every day but at the end of every level.

I have ice cream everyday!!! Lol I only have half a cup (one serving) and pile it high with bananas, strawberries, and anything else fruit wise I have hanging around. Enjoy!
