Welcome back! It is a great tool :). Feel free to add me as a friend and I can support you along the way!

Thank you for everything that you do :). Feel free to add me as a friend.

I don't have that specific phone, but I LOVE my Android :). I had nothing but issues with my iPhone. Android has an app for MFP, but the newest software release isn't available yet (just on the iPhone). Word on the street is it should come out soon. I think the only difference is you can't see posts through the app- you…

Great job! A very unique NSV. My most memorable one was last week my short literally fell off. I was in my backyard, so no one saw :). Time to buy new shorts I suppose.

What kind of meats do you like? Also, can you be more specific on the things you don't like- since you are a picky eater. Also, do you want meal recipes/snacks/etc?

6 or 8 depending on the brand (US). I am 5'7".

According to research online, corn starch is really bad for you. This was a reoccuring theme: "You can become diabetic because the starches actually turns into sugar. It also weakens your teeth and contributes to weight gain." I would suggest you see a doctor and target that before trying to lose any weight.

I LOVE my Asics Gel running shoes- a couple of friends who were training for marathons recommended them. Nikes, adidas and new balance all killed my feet. I got mine on sale (and with a coupon) at Kohl's for roughly $50. Greatest investment I have made in years :).

I would definitely suggest bringing your lunch and snacks. I bring my lunch almost every day- you can take a look at my diary if you want :). Most mornings I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast with a glass of Trop50 Orange Juice (only 50 calories, with a whole days worth of Vit. C and most of my calcium). Snack #1 is…

If you are worried about sit-ups I would try one of the challenges that are online: http://www.twohundredsitups.com/ This one is a 6 week program that gradually gets you doing more sit-ups, up to 200. I am currently doing the 6 week program for 100 push-ups and I can really feel a difference :). I started out doing 10 at a…

I try and fit them into my daily goal. If you eat really healthy all day or workout hard, you should deserve a sweet treat :). You might also want to consider the lower fat/calorie version of those treats- Skinny Cow has wonderful candy and ice cream bars, as does Weight Watchers. Avoid the splurge day though, it just…

Great job! Keep up the good work :)

I like it grilled. Another good way is to coat it in bread crumbs (using a little egg or egg whites) and then baking it at 350 for 20-30 minutes.

Don't feel guilty at all- you are within your calorie limits, so no need to :). I save calories almost every night to have a "sweet snack" after dinner and I am still losing weight. As long as you don't eat a whole tub of ice cream, I think you are good.

That is a great feeling :). Congratulations.

Great job! You can do it :). Also, I like your profile pic

True friends are ones that will motivate you and support you in what you believe in. Stick with it!!! You are doing a great job, and let's be honest- they are most likely just jealous. Give them something to be jealous of :)

Haha. That is awesome! You can always count on kids to be brutally honest...which is the best kind of compliment :). Congratulations on your NSV!!!

The ads that pop up are determined by what cookies are on your computer. Mine currently is Lifetime Fitness, but yesterday when my daughter was on the Chuck E. Cheese website I had CEC ads the entire day.

I would suggest eating every few hours instead of eating 3 large meals (I normally do 5 to 6 "mini-meals"). For my snacks I normally try to pair a vegetable or fruit with a source of protein- this week is grape tomatoes with string cheese :)- all for 95 calories. My diary is open if you want to take a look Food…

Yes- most of them are typically open to the public. I run at the local high school track all the time :).

Nuts and nut butter, string cheese, laughing cow cheese wedges, yogurt, beef or turkey jerkey, sliced ham or turkey, eggs, protein bars. My favorite snack if 2% string cheese and cherry tomatoes- less than 100 calories for a great snack!
-
I typically eat around 300 calories at breakfast- enough for 1 cup of cereal, 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of 50 calorie, calcium-fortified orange juice. That seems to get me through most of the morning, or I will have a small snack inbetween breakfast and lunch (today was grape tomatoes and 2% string cheese). By the end of the…

Chew gum, have other healthy snacks on the side that you can pick up instead or bake something he enjoys, but you don't (that way there is no temptation)

Great job! Congratulations :)

That is a whole lot of commas.

I try to limit myself to natural sugars- like fruit. In the beginning I was really craving sugar, but that urge has really faded now that I have been on MFP for a month. If anything, I will have a skinny cow ice cream bar at the end of the day- delicious and healthy :).
