Hi, I really need help with quick and easy recipies as I work alot and I eat alot of junk! Im such a fussy eater and afraid to try new things. I dont eat fish or most meats and practically live on carbs. I do like fruit and veg which is a good thing but I really need new things that are low in calories and fat and easy to make. Please help

What kind of meats do you like? Also, can you be more specific on the things you don't like- since you are a picky eater.

Also, do you want meal recipes/snacks/etc?
  • well, if you are eating alot of junk food during the day at work be a boy scout. By that I mean, be prepared bring some your own stuff to eat instead. When you leave for work the crock pot can be your best friend fast and easy when you get home, No thought needed when you are tired. I make a really good turkey chili. It is easy to put together (if you like chili). Lots of different veggie and ground turkey. If you are interested send me a message. It is very easy to put take things out or add things. My kids like it.
  • I really only like chicken and ham. Anything else im not great with. My calorie goal is only 1200 a day and im finding it hard to keep the calories down. I love to have wholemeal toast with peanut butter in the mornings, then morrocan chicken salad for lunch but when it comes to dinner im not sure what to have because ive already had chicken and dont feel like eating it again. I never feel full with the foods that im choosing. Ive also tried to cut down on carbs which helped me lose 4 lbs in 1 week, i lived on them and do still like some white bread now again because it fills me up

All natural beef? I could recommend some good nut butter. Homemade!

You cannot go wrong with nut butter. Delish. Not to mention that it can be quite fun extracting it... What???

^I've heard amazing things about his nut butter.

Also, go to the grocery store and just try new things. Go through to produce and grab veggies keeping in mind you are an adult and sometimes as an adult you have to do things you don't want to do, but you have to do them because they're good for you.

I could create an assembly line for the way I extract nut butter. I just need a cigarette and 5 minutes between sessions. Gets a bit grueling after a while. But hey, my forearms can compete with Popeye. Oh, and I can create different flavors. Like kona nut and pineapple nut..butter.

^^^^^^^^^ Would like to agree times a million. I used to be the world's pickiest eater. I wouldn't eat most fruits, vegetables, meats or really anything healthy because I couldn't take the "texture". Then I remembered I'm not 2 years old anymore, and eating is about fueling your body to be HEALTHY, not about the two seconds of pleasure you get when that food touches your lips.
