Me! I started with c25k in spring of 2012 and built up from there. I did my first half marathon in Fall of 2012, 2 full marathons in 2013, and one in 2014. Now I am slightly injured ???? but planning on starting ultramarathon training ASAP.

WOW! This is exactly what happens to me in my relationships....

Oh my gosh I can relate. I went through a pretty bad breakup about a month and a half ago and he still lingers. In fact, just yesterday I found out he is dating again and it broke my heart all over again. Needless to say, I did turn to food. Not like I would have in the past...but still. I don't know if that will ever…

I agree, talk to your doctor. Although, I too do not have one. I stopped getting it a little over a year ago. I went to my doctor and she discussed it is from my running and marathon training. If I want to have children, there are options we would have to look at. I don't want to have children at this point, so she said I…

From my experience, increasing calories leads to TEMPORARY gain as your body adjusts. In my opinion, you should stop weighing daily. It's not doing you any good at this point. Maybe…

Thanks for the response. He was living with me all summer until he left for school (an hour away) at the end of August. I agree it was extremely douche-y to break up with me over the phone. I should be angry about that. Gotta get angry...

The 5k is a hard race to be "fast" at....I ran one yesterday in a little over 21 minutes and got first in my age group...but it was a small race. I don't think I would probably place in a bigger race. That being said, you should not focus on the time...focus on the accomplishment instead! You ran a 5K!!! :flowerforyou:

Tons of reasons! Losing my beautiful mom at the age of 63 to heart disease and diabetes was a big one! But my actual final straw was the picture on the bottom left of my profile/avatar <. I had NO IDEA I looked like that. It terrified and appalled me. Also, around that same time, I was co-teaching a college class and I…
